This small battery chainsaw works well for pruning fruit trees. A few days after I got the saw, I used it to cut a tree out of the road. The tree had about a 10" stump so it was a bit bigger than the saw was designed for. By cutting from the opposite side, I was able to use this little saw to buck the tree and go to town (to get my big gas chainsaw repaired).

Works ok. The chain comes off easily. The battery doesn’t last very long. Comes with two batteries, but that gives you maybe a couple of hours. If you change the battery and start charging the first one, the second one is going to die before the first one charges up. I think the chain needs changing on mine because it doesn’t seem sharp any more and is also very loose. I won’t tighten more, another reason I think it needs replacing. It comes with an extra chain, but be prepared to buy them often. I didn’t think I used mine very much but could be wrong, or but maybe it’s normal for chains to have a short life. If you are getting a pole attachment to trim things overhead and worried about weight, this is great. If you are going to be cutting things not overhead but are not wanting a heavy chainsaw, I would look at a bigger saw but a lighter weight one. My handyman uses a battery saw that looks like a small sized normal one. He let me pick it up, and I could handle it and it worked better than the mini saw. The mini saw works good for what it is. It is not a full size saw. This mini saw is good for small branches and small jobs. It isn’t good for any kind of branch or trunk that is small/medium, medium, or big. I wouldn’t recommend it for chopping down and cutting up anything more than small things. I’ve had to hire a professional to chop down trees and trim others. None of these battery things compare at all to the gas powered professional equipment. Same is true of blowers. Gas powered professional equipment is 100 times better. However, this is good for small trimming jobs.

Product is light, easy to handle and cuts easily and quickly for smaller limbs. It's electric, no fuel or fumes and comes with two batteries for longer work times.

The Immoulive Mini Chain Saw Cordless 6” is as advertised. I had branches come down from a wind storm and this saw cut through the branches easily. The size and light weight makes it easy to use rather than using my larger chain saw. The smaller size allows to make more precise cuts and you have less kickback. I am glad I purchased this saw. I looked at some of the other major tool manufacturers like Marita, Dewalt, and Milwaukee but they were far more expensive but only came with the tool and nothing else. The Immoulive mini chainsaw comes with a carrying case, 2 batteries, charger, oil, extra chain, and bar cover. I definitely would purchase this saw again.

I have four groups of pygmy palms in my yard that are over 20 years old and have never had their trunks trimmed other than me pruning off dead palm fronds. I also have a large Mesquite tree that a landscaper quoted $400 to trim off the lower branches. I have been looking for a chainsaw that would let me do this work myself since I like working in the yard and saving money. I’m a 68 year old woman with no experience with this type of tool so I did my research. This Imoum Live 6” chainsaw is a perfect fit. It’s lightweight and EASY to hold and handle. The safety features gave me confidence and after a few minutes I got the hang of it. This tool easily cut through the very hard spines left from the pruning. The kit came with 2 batteries. A MAJOR plus so you can switch out a dead battery for a new one when you’re on a roll and want to keep working. After a little over an hour of working, the battery still had more than 3/4th charge left and I only quit because it was getting dark. I still need to do some finishing work on the trunks so I can shave them later plus tackle the remaining 3 groups of palms I have left then will trim up the mesquite tree. You can buy the extension pole for this chainsaw that I definitely will be buying for the taller limbs. Having the second battery charged and ready will insure I can work as long as I want. The enclosed instructions are pretty good and I read up on everything before I used it because I’m a novice. The chain came loose at the end and the tightener knob wasn’t working. The chain had come off the quide. It took me forever to figure out that I needed to completely unscrew the tightener knob in order to remove the cover plate because the instructions didn’t say to “turn counter clockwise to Remove the tightener/screw” only “turn counterclockwise.” Since this functions as the chain tightener (clockwise turn) it didn’t occur to me that I needed to keep turning it counterclockwise past the tight resistance (I didn’t know if I would break something). But once the cover was off, it was easy to reset the chain which had come off due to the wood debris that had collected under the plate but out of sight. The kit comes with a brush for cleaning and I recommend having a pair of needle nose pliers handy while using the chainsaw so you can remove small debris that you can see that collects right under the chain above the hand grip. The small design of this tool is perfect for any yard trimming of cactus, tree limbs, rose bushes, etc. It’s a real value price-wise as well. Can’t recommend it enough!

I bought the previous 6 inch (older model) and it is a BEAST.The new model has 3 "tabs" that the bar has to be placed in (wich are also on a spring system ?) . I didn't even get through 2 whole batteries. I had to keep cleaning out the damn inside since the rear cover is larger than the older model , and ALL THE DEBRIS CLOGES AND STOPS THE SAW CONSTANTLY.THEN I CHANGED THE BLADE AND THE NEW TAB SYSTEM THE RIGHT HAND SIDE (TAB TO HOLD THE BLADE BROKE OFF !!!I only was able to use the saw 1 time because who ever re-designed this 6 inch saw (clearly never used the older model) .I can't even describe how much anger this (new 6 inch Design) SUCKS ASS... 1 use ...And between the constant stopping because of the debris getting stuck up inside the rear of the cover ,,, but then the TAB that holds the BAR FOR THE SAW breaks changing the blade? Totally different saw from the old design. Don't buy this model . Find the old 6 inch model (Same Brand). To many new design FLAWS. I could cut for hours with the old model no problems...
