Edit: after contacting mishimoto they sent me a replacement fan to replace the damaged one. Raising my review from 2 to 5 starts, despite having to deal with the hassle of fixing this. One of the fans was not screwed in to the housing at all. The screws had been over torqued to the point where they pulled the thread out of the plastic. After putting larger screws in they work great. They are a little loud, but I'm happy with their performance otherwise.I saw a few reviews mention that it didn't fix their issue with overheating, so I'll make a couple suggestions for everyone as to what the problems could be.1. Improper bleed, make sure you bleed from the valve at the back of the block, probably the number one issue for over heating Zs. Bleed it, keep bleeding it, and then bleed it again.2. Thermostat, if you haven't already changed it I would suggest doing it while changing the fans. You're already going to have to bleed the system once you put these in, so you may as well change the thermostat while the fans are out since it will give you extra room to work.If those don't fix your issue it could be a bigger problem like a blown head gasket, bad IPDM, or a bad radiator. But those are the quick and easy fixes before you start going down the rabbit hole.

Amazing quality and light weight fan, I had over heating problems after I turbocharged my 350z and now it runs great!

Works very well.Things to note: These are louder than stock fans. They have a very distinct metallic industrial sound to them. Personally I find it enjoyable and strong but that may not be to everybody's liking. Also, these fit right in with the factory wiring but they don't follow the stock on/off settings. For instance, stock fans activate separately and at two different speeds depending on two different thermal thresholds. Yet these function always in unison and activate at a single temperature threshold. So there's no halfway quiet mode, they are either fully on or fully off. When they are on, wow, they really blow. It feels like a furnace by the time the temp threshold has been hit so they are extremely effective with the included shroud. I even added a bit of aluminum foil HVAC tape to the tiny gap between the radiator and the fan shroud to push a few extra percentage points of efficiency with the suction/blowing between the radiator and fan shroud. In reality it's not really necessary to be honest. Also, like another poster, at first I thought there was something wrong with this upgrade because my car was still overheating (2004 350z). Turns out, after a new radiator install and flush, this car is notorious for keeping air bubbles in the core of the system. It took a few runs, ons and offs, blowing only full hot air even on hot days but the bubbles that I didn't know were even there must have finally escaped because the overheating problem went away. You know you have a problem with air in the system when you can't get hot air to blow even when the heater is on. So yeah, don't misjudge the fan (or their radiator for that matter) because they work very well even in hot temperature climates. 5 stars.

Awesome aftermarket replacement option for your 350z's OEM fan shroud. The fan shrouds on these cars actually had a service call and many were replaced (if under warranty). The bearing on the driver's side fan failed on mine and would only spin when tapped. I chose to upgrade instead of repair and am very pleased with this product. The amount of air this Mishimoto moves in comparison to the stock assembly is staggering. If I was just getting a second hand 350z and looking to put in some upgrades, this would be one of my first purchases to be honest. It is smaller, lighter, moves more air and is totally plug and play.Installation of the new shroud is pretty simple. You likely will have to remove one of the radiator hoses and after hooking everything back up, bleed the air out of your cooling system (a headache on the 350z) to avoid air pockets and overheating issues. A Lisle spill-free funnel definitely helps here. Also, if you have the money and are tackling this project, I would suggest perhaps replacing the thermostat and maybe upgrade to the Mishimoto radiator. This is certainly not necessary but will save you from having to drain and rebleed the system in the future if you do it all at once. Also, I used some thicker insulation along the edges of the fan shroud, but that was just my prerogative.I included a picture of the old shroud for reference as well a picture of the Mishimoto installed. Highly recommended and worth the cost.
