The fit on these hoses is atrociously bad, as they are both shorter than the factory hoses they replace. The lower radiator hose basically has to be installed completely taught, because when sized up against an OEM Gates lower radiator hose, it's about 3" shorter for some unknown reason. Once you finally get it on and start driving, the hose will eventually expand with heat cycles and stretch out to an acceptable level, but installation is atrocious because it puts an unnecessary kink on the hose and interferes with the transmission cooler lines on Suburbans/Tahoes. The top radiator hose is also not much better...it will install fine, but it is also 3" too short and the hose does not fit in the factory channel on the radiator fan shroud.So in summary, are these hoses worth it? Well, they offer bling factor and that's about it. Maybe they're more durable over time being silicone hoses and not rubber, but who knows...my factory OEM hoses (made by Gates for GM) lasted over 22 years!!! For the price it feels like a ripoff given how poorly they fit, and the fact they're just Chinese made hoses using a Japanese name to sound more premium.
