Fit for the most part but was an area that was not threaded so my bolt wouldn’t screw in which caused it to not fit right and having to pay someone to thread it so I can put the bolt in.

Me gustó que el material es mejor que en que trae de agencia, el único detalle es que los tornillos no son inoxidables pero me gustó en términos generales

I replaced a plastic valve cover gasket with this aluminum one far superior to the factory cover.

The whole thing was spray painted black. And Even the 2 VCT gaskets were inserted before hand and then spray painted in. Which cause them to harden and dry out. Which made it impossible to install. Because we broke them installing the part. Had to go to a Ford dealership to pay $35+ for new gaskets for them because you spray painted them in. Very Disappointing. I hope the paint on the inside doesn't ruin my engine. Fingers crossed.

So I replaced the valve cover gaskets and seals initially. If you are not super careful removing the valve cover you can tweak it as I did and put a hairline crack near the seals. So after another set of gaskets I realized this and bought an aftermarket plastic valve cover with seals and gaskets only to have it leak from one of the nutserts. I purchased the aluminum valve cover for the same price as the plastic and have had no issues other than having to ream out some paint where the dipstick goes through. If not for that I would have given a five star.

I installed it same day it arrived looks good on focus , only reason I bought was because I cracked old plastic manifold, but this fixes the problem and can torque it down tighter , all bolts that came with kit I used , other reviews said they didn't fit but I'm assuming they put the bolts in the wrong places, gaskets that came with kit I didn't use they'd probably work but looked cheap , went in easy the vvt seals are already pressed in so that's a plus , if you get stuck on your vvt solenoids when installing I used a pry bar against my fire wall an it sat in perfectly giving it 4/5 stars just because the gasket looks bad

If you’re getting this for your 2.0L ford focus, please get new bolts. They come with 5 long ones that fit, but the others are way too short and there’s no thread to grab the head and tighten. When you put the bolts through the hole of the new valve cover, you can’t even see it on the other side. Way too short, please extend the length of these bolts.
