I purchased Mobil 1 Differential Fluid for my vehicle, and so far, it seems to be working great. The application was smooth, and I noticed an immediate improvement in performance—quieter operation and smoother driving. It meets the specifications I needed, and the quality seems top-notch, as expected from Mobil 1.Of course, the real test will be over time, but for now, I’m happy with the purchase. If anything changes down the road, I’ll update my review. For now, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone needing a reliable differential fluid.

We all know Mobil 1 is top notch. This is for the transfer case on my qx60. If gears could talk, maybe they'd ask me for more?

Just installed in my 2013 Acura TL transfer case. Had never change it in 11+ years. Acura service dept. had no issues using this fluid so I assume they believe it's a quality product. Time will tell.

Everything went perfectly when I replaced the gear fluid in my 2020 TRD Sport Tundra with this. After the first 500 miles, the truck feels excellent and feels as new.

Mobil one has always been the best oil there is. I always use it in my engine so now I’m using it for the differential front & back.

It's gear oil, nothing more. I needed it, good price found, end of story

I needed this for the pump on a used pressure washer I had purchased, as the body of the pump specifies 75W90 lube. I flushed out the pump fully with some 0W20 oil on hand, then drained that and refilled with the 75W90 and the pump works perfectly. The price here on Amazon was also less than our local auto parts stores, so I saved a little money as well.

Very pleased so far. I had some unknown, burned-up 75w-140 (or possibly just really beat-up 75w-90) fluid in the front and rear diff's of my recently acquired 99 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. The diff's were noisy and driveline drag was simply horrible. "Coasting" with my 4spd Auto was an abstract concept. My auto coasted like a manual...whiplash.I drained the old fluid (which smelled burned and was brown) and put this stuff in the front and rear differentials. Instantly, it seemed that even throttle response was heightened and the car could coast! This isn't to say that this is magic fluid, but only to show how horrible the previous fluid was. I'm very pleased so far.Truthfully, I'm planning on running this fluid for a few thousand miles (3-5k) and then draining this in favor of Lucas Syn 75w-90 with a hint of Redline Heavy Shockproof. I have a buddy who used that combo in his 2007 Tundra rear end and he said it not only saved his noisy diff, but reduced his diff housing temp by over 20 degrees on his commute home. That's huge. However, in the meantime, this is so cheap it's competitive with dino-based gear oils. In fact, at $11 shipped, there's simply no excuse to NOT use this as a baseline even on a beater.Bottom Line: My 99 Impreza OBS's differentials are quieter and run cooler. Further, the car coasts quite effortlessly now, as opposed to before with the old gear oil. I am confident that this would protect my differential for a std 50,000 change interval. For highway driving with AWD vehicles, there's no excuse to not be using a fully synthetic gear oil. Also, this 75w-90 also supplants the 80w-90 rated gear oil for the front diff in my 99 Subaru. It's meets the specs even though it's a lighter grade (because this is fully synthetic).
