Baby Mirror

The GROWGO Montessori mirror

The GROWGO Montessori mirror is a versatile and innovative mirror designed to nurture your child's development – all the way from infancy through toddlerhood and beyond.

Inspired by Montessori principles, this mirror offers a safe and engaging space for your little one to explore, learn, and grow. With three setup options, this 3-in-1 mirror adapts to your child's changing needs.

This mirror provides opportunities for self-recognition, sensory exploration, and the development of autonomy and independence. Whether it's encouraging tummy time for your infant, fostering confidence for your toddler, or promoting self-care as they grow, the GROWGO Montessori mirror is a valuable addition to your child's journey of self-discovery.

The GROWGO Montessori mirror has three setups that adapt to three stages in a growing child's life.

Baby Mirror

Stage 1: 0-6 months old

The first setup is for infants. With its sturdy legs, the mirror stands on the ground, providing a secure space for the baby's mat. The added overhead mobile keeps the baby engaged, improving focus and visual tracking, while the visual stimulation cards help to develop color recognition and overall cognitive function. Plus, it encourages the baby to get plenty of tummy time!

Baby Mirror

Stage 2: 6-18 months old

The second stage is meant for toddlers. The mirror takes on a new role as it's fixed horizontally to the wall. A horizontal bar invites your toddler to reach for it, grasp onto it, learn to stand up, and, eventually, take the first steps towards independence. It's also the time when children begin to recognize themselves in the mirror, fostering self-awareness and boosting their confidence.

Baby Mirror

Stage 3: 18+ months old

The third stage is designed for children over 18 months old. The mirror hangs vertically on the wall, allowing youngsters to see themselves at their full height. It becomes a dressing-up mirror, teaching kids to groom themselves independently. The bar becomes an accessory rack, perfect for hanging outfit choices for the next day. This setup fosters a sense of personal responsibility and self-care.

Baby Mirror

Visual stimulation cards are a fantastic addition to the GROWGO Montessori mirror, enhancing your baby's sensory exploration and developmental journey.

Black-and-white cards

In their early stages of life, when infants do not yet perceive colors, black-and-white cards become captivating tools that engage their developing visual senses. These high-contrast cards are thoughtfully designed to stimulate their growing brains, aiding in visual tracking, focus, and attention development.

Colorful cards

As your little one grows, the introduction of colorful visual stimulation cards enriches their experience. These vibrant cards capture their attention and stimulate their color recognition, further promoting cognitive development.

With the GROWGO Montessori mirror and its visual stimulation cards, you're providing a valuable resource for your baby's early learning journey.

A Hardware Set

It includes all the needed bolts and a hex key.

A Set of Visual Stimulation Cards

The set consists of a black-and-white card pack and a colorful card pack.

A Wooden Arm with a Baby Mobile

The arm fixes to the mirror's frame but can be attached anywhere else, like a baby's crib. The package also includes a cute mobile with felt sheep that can be hung from the arm.

A User Guide

The step-by-step instructions cover everything from the assembly of the product to the best ways to use it throughout all the stages of the baby's development.

Baby Mirror

Improves cognitive functions & concentration

As babies track the mobile with their eyes and engage with the visual stimulation cards, they sharpen their focus, develop the optic nerve, and grow overall cognitive abilities.

Grows self-awareness & a sense of autonomy

The mirror nurtures self-awareness and fosters a sense of autonomy in children as they engage with their own reflections, encouraging independence and self-discovery.

Develops fine & gross motor skills

Ribbons or toys tied around the wooden rings encourage reaching for them and, later on, grabbing the bar itself. It actively develops fine and gross motor skills and teaches important actions such as reaching and grasping.

Builds muscle strength, balance, & coordination

Toddlers can hold onto the bar, learn to stand up, cruise, and take the first steps, while the bar simultaneously aids in building essential muscle strength, balance, and coordination crucial for their physical development.

Supports independent play & self-care

The third setup, with the mirror hanging vertically, encourages independent play and self-care in kids, empowering them to take initiative and responsibility for their grooming and personal choices.

Encourages confidence & creativity

The third setup, with the mirror hanging vertically, encourages confidence and creativity by enabling children to choose their own outfits and engage in imaginative play with the mirror, fostering self-expression.

I purchased this Growgo Montessori Mirror Baby Wall, Baby Pull Up Bar, 3-in-1 Shatterproof Mirror with Wooden Pull Up Bar - Montessori Baby Furniture for Balancing Nature and Development for my granddaughter.I was excited to find a baby/toddler proof mirror with pull up, stability bar.I would love it, except that I needed my husband to replace all the hardware, and arrange a different and much safer method to attach it to the wall. The hardware that comes with this Montessori mirror is just too short, and it REALLY needs to be affixed well or it will pull out from the wall. There needs to be better, more secure option.I do like the mirror itself it's very nice and shatterproof-holds up against toys being tapped on it.The balance bar is just OK, it flexes a lit and I worry a little, but it hasn't actually broken.I just feel at this valuation, the mirror should have much better hardware.

I love this mirror! It’s a great things to have so the child can see themselves fully. It’s made of wood but smooth so no one can get a splinter. I love that it comes with a mobile which can also move and be in different heights. It also comes with contrast cards and slots in front of mirror to go in.

I think I'd give this 4.5 stars if I could, but rounding up for the review. This is a really nice acrylic mirror, and my baby loves to watch herself in the mirror. She babbles at the "other baby" and tries to touch them. It's really cute. There isn't much distrotion, unless you're actively pressing on the mirror to change its shape. But I'd rather that than it breaking with a little one around! We didn't quite follow the instructions -- we attached the bar to the front of the mirror while it's standing on the two legs, but it is still very stable. We set this mirror up just as she was starting to sit up, but she'd wobble around, so we attached a stroller stap to one of the rings and the bar, giving her something to hold on to. Success!! The strap helped her stay mostly upright and after a while she started holding on to the bar too. No issues with stability even with a tall 8-month-old tugging at the bar. Next step - standing! At the rate she's growing, we're going to have to flip the mirror soon. That being said, I didn't see anything in the set that would plug up the little holes that are currently being covered by the bar, but once it's vertical, they will be noticeable. One of the corners also has a crack along the diagonal where the wood connects, but it does not appear to be a concern. The set also comes with a mobile and a small set of cards. The mobile doesn't move on its own, but you can attach it anywhere (like a crib!). and it's hanging by a string, so if you tap it, it can rotate or swing back and forth for a bit. The back unscrews and there's felt padding to protect whatever you place the mobile on. There's not too many cards, but the designs are cute. I originally borrowed a set from my friend (wish I had this one!), and the black and white design on hers unnerved me. They were too busy, dizzy, and odd at times. These growgo cards are more tame and more pleasant to the eye while still being high-contrast. There's a little slot on the bottom front of the mirror where you can insert the cards. My baby might have grown out of these, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy the pictures. She loves the ladybug and butterfly.

We ordered this mirror for our toddler's room - he's almost two, already walking, but also still known to throw things. We wanted a mirror in his room so he could learn to get dressed, comb his hair, etc., so we were really happy to find that this mirror is unbreakable. The mirror was pretty easy to install - we had it up in less than 10 minutes. Overall, we love the mirror and plan to keep it in his room until he grows taller than the mirror. The only setback is that the mirror has two open holes both at the bottom and top of the mirror. I reached out to the company to see if they could provide plugs or something we could use to cover the holes. Unfortunately, they don't provide anything to cover the holes. This is not a deal breaker for me, but it would have been nice. While we do our best to keep his room tidy, he has a unique way of getting everything dirty so I can't wait to see what fun and gross things he will stuff in there.
