CEL indicated a bad #5 cylinder. Replaced the plug and COP but no luck....replaced the injector with this one and the car runs perfectly now and CEL cleared. 2012 Fusion 3.0L

I purchased this OEM Motorcraft fuel injector for my 2012 Ford Escape that was throwing off error codes for the number 5 cylinder and causing the check engine light to come on and sent the vehicle into a "limp home" caution mode. It fixed the problem and the fuel injector and the vehicle are running great with no issues since the repair. The only negative with this part and most OEM parts is the price. If I had to replace all 6 of the fuel injectors at once ( which I probably should have done simply for reliability ) it would have been a $333 repair bill just for the parts not including taxes or labor. If reliability is more important than price then OEM is the way to go nd I can certainly recommend this part.

Great part. Hard to get to, easy to change out. Glad I ignored Amazon advice that it didn't fit.

My 2009 V6 Ford Escape is running great. I kept on getting a warning light in a code for a cylinder misfire on cylinder number 1 and I couldn't figure out what was going wrong with it I did it compression test on it and a compression test while low overall looks fine. Then I started checking the resistance in each fuel injector and sure enough it was an open circuit on a cylinder 1. The vehicle is running great and it's nice not to have a check engine light on.

The check engine light on my 2009 Ford Escape V6 was on and the code was read showing; P301 Cylinder #1 Misfire Detected & P201 Cylinder #1 Injector/Open. I changed out the #1 injector and all of the spark plugs which resolved the issued completely. The check engine light reset itself after 3-5 drive cycles. The price and shipping time was great. I definitely would buy again.

Bought for my son's car, I always try and buy OEM when possible; The price for this was half what I could buy it for in town and we received it quicker than I had time to install it. Works like a dream now!
