I have had a positive experience with this baby monitor! It has been very reliable so far. It has excellent sound quality, and the added temperature feature makes it a standout choice. The compact size is a definite plus, fitting perfectly in my pocket as I move about the house. If you're looking for a simple yet effective way to monitor your little ones while they play in their bedroom, this gem won't disappoint.

I’ve had this monitor for a little over a year and I’be been really happy with it. I’m ordering another after my FIL let my toddler use the parent unit as a soccer ball, sigh. I had a graco brand monitor for my first child and this one is light years better. I always put the base unit on the floor behind the crib and I can hear clearly with the volume on level 2. I like the room temperature reading even though it’s a bit skewed from being on the floor. I only used the two-way talk feature once but it worked fine. Overall it’s a great monitor for the price without the overkill of a video monitor.

It works mostly OK, but there are two things for which it loses stars. The first is entirely practical: The transmitter and receivers are both very light and small, slightly larger than a pager (for those of you old enough to remember those). If you want to carry the receiver around, this is undoubtedly a good thing. However, each unit stays in a single location. The AC adapter cable is fairly thick and stiff. Combined with the light weight, it's very difficult to position the unit (e.g., make it stand up, make it face a particular direction, etc.). That is, the cord significantly impedes placement of the units. There's a huge warning label attached to the end of the AC adapter cable as well (the label is longer than the units are tall and nearly as wide). This can both hinder and help positioning the unit: While it gets in the way, it's also possible to set something on top of the label, thereby anchoring the cable and thus the unit. The other thing for which it loses a star is its sensitivity: There seems to be some sort of cut-off below which noises are not transmitted.I first used a baby monitor 25+ years ago when my kids were small. (I use this monitor to keep track of an elderly dog. He likes sleeping on my bed while I work from home in the basement -- he's always hated the basement and there's no room upstairs for a desk, so him being with me is not an option.) I can hear many noises he makes, but they often sound clipped -- like there's more I should be hearing, but can't. I remember the old-fashioned baby monitors transmitting every little thing (but that was over 25 years ago, so ...).Overall, I'd say that it works OK.

El volumen del sonido es muy bajo, incluso en el nivel más alto, no los recomiendo. Los regresé al otro día.

We ordered this monitor set so that we can hear if one or both of my parents calls out to us in the night. We sleep in the opposite end of the house, and would have a hard time hearing them call out if they fell or needed us for some reason. These monitors enable us to hear them if they need us. Very helpful.

These are cheap and don’t have a ton of features or range but my son is 5 so I don’t need close monitoring. I just need a way for him to communicate with me in the night if needed rather than coming downstairs in the dark. These were perfect for what we need. Works all over the house, but not much further (say the ends of our yard).

Has a mute/squelch function that is nice, mutes static and such until the children make noise , especially nice at night. Battery seems ok, ours stays plugged in most of the time. Temperature is very sensitive, had it on a shelf next to a window and we were getting alarms for cold due to the placement close to the window. Over all a good unit for someone that only wants audio.

The volume seems soft to me even at highest level. Range isn’t as great as other brands. It cuts out when I’m outside my house and yet still within the advertised range. But it is good value for the money and a good inexpensive option for an audio only model. It doesn’t interfere with our v-tech monitor we use with our other child.

Product sets up and links and works just fine. Until it doesn't. For some unknown reason, the base randomly blinks and beeps warning that it is unlinked from the monitor side, although both units are plugged in and fully charged.
