I opted for a few dollars more for the remote which useful and easy. It is much easier to control what color and how dim is preferred. Upper part is silicone and tapping it for different modes is pretty accurate. It does seem flimsy at first but it is sturdy. It lasts the whole night if you just want to keep it on throughout. Great cute design and product for the price.

It is so soft to the touch. Very cute and lights up the room enough for reading or moving about. Haven't seen how long I takes on one charge it I have only had it on for short periods. Little one loves it.

I like that the light is bright enough to breastfeed and to see the baby if he's asleep in his crib but not bright enough to stop either of us from sleeping. It charges quickly. I like the options to dim and have changing colours. It's also very cute.

This was purchased off our child’s wishlist. It’s the second of this type of night light we have. It’s really cute and gives off the perfect amount of light to keep our child feeling comforted instead of uneasy in the complete darkness. It has multiple colors and can be controlled by a gentle tap on the head. It’s really cute. Ours did not come with a remote like the other one we own (bear). I’m honestly not sure if it was supposed to because it was cheaper in price than the one that came with a remote. The lack of a remote is not a huge deal for us. The thing that IS a big deal to us (and the reason for 3 stars) is the fact that it did not come with an adapter to charge it. It just comes with a charging cord but you cannot plug it in. So I have to alternate the adapter I own between the two different night lights, which is often forgotten and therefore the nightlight is frequently dead. It’s frustrating. I really don’t want to buy an additional adapter but I’ll have to eventually for this to be used all the time. It would be nice if it came with everything needed to charge it. I wish the manufacturer would include the adapter and increase the price if that’s necessary. It’s really a big inconvenience.
