The screen hits you in the face and if you pull it away from your face it breaks easily because the screen is not reinforced with nylon as it should be. Very cheaply made and uncomfortable. Do not buy. It shouldn’t be hitting you in the face at all but it does. Screen is cheap plastic.

It's a lot easier than putting on a full bee suit or smock and equally effective protection. The drawstring broke the first time I used it, pulling out of the hat. Also the hat is slightly smaller than my larger head. Would be better if it had a larger size option or adjustable somehow.

I have horses and we spend much of the summer trying to control the fly and gnat population. We are only put a dent in the bug population and the mask is necessary when we are out in the fields. It works great.

I bought this for hiking in the Shenandoah. The bugs are fierce. My friends laughed when I showed them. ..... they now swat bothersome bugs that won’t leave them be.I swat the ladies, cause they can’t get enough.The hat works. Comfy. Nice net.

Like this hat so much better than the one I previously had that was attached to my jacket. It is so easy to put on and use. I think the mess part of the hat seems to be more pliable than my previous one that ended up cracking. It only comes in one size so the hat was a little big but I just put a bandana around my head and problem fixed.

The hat and veil are perfect for a visit to the beehive. I have a jacket as well, but I enjoy the comfort and easy of putting this on. There have been complaints about the underarm straps, and it is true that they are not very heavy duty, but they work for me. I am 5'10, 185# and it fits me like a glove. I could see where the under arm straps would rip off for a larger person. For the money, I would by another one.
