A professional dog groomer recommended this conditioner and I’m so grateful!I was skeptical about the directions to dilute it 24:1. But wow, it was perfect at that dilution and made the stuff worth every penny!The smell is subtle and pleasant.My dog’s hair mats terribly, and using this helps me keep her hair in good condition.Love this stuff!

I have an f1b mini goldendoodle. His hair is so hard to maintain. It mats & knots so bad but this conditioner has been a lifesaver! I got this to help with brushing. It helps keep his hair detangled and also leaves him so soft and smelling good. The smell isn’t too overwhelming just a light good smell. But I absolutely love this product!!

FIVE STARS!okay… for real now.I have used Hylyt Shampoo and Conditioner for about twenty years so imagine my surprise and DISAPPOINTMENT when it disappeared from the face of the earth. It was recommended by my vet in 2003 for my English Bulldog puppy (SHERMAN as in Crazy4). He passed away in 2013 and in 2015 we got a French Bulldog who actually has skin issues that I didn’t know about until now.I’m an OCD weirdo who needs Shampoo and Conditioner to be the same brand, but I’ve had to branch out and get over that. My vet recommended what I have been using in conjunction with Hylyt for eight years and they have several different conditioners (not one that exactly goes with the shampoo) but they suck.I’ve been trying to find an equivalent for over a year and so far haven’t been able to find anything even slightly as good at best. My vet has no recommendation (which is weird to me but whatever). I’m starting to wonder if I should start using a dog friendly people conditioner.ANYWAY. (I hope this even gets posted) I’m sure this is a good product, but just not for my French Bulldog. If you happen to know the Hylyt brand and had to switch please look me up on instagram same user name (he was really the best dog ever) I’m open to suggestions. Thank YOU!

I purchased this for my Maltese foster who was suffering from hair loss & chronic and severe skin issues from hypothyroidism/neglect that included - thick, crusty skin build-up / numerous blackheads / peeling / flakiness / itchiness/ open sores. On top of that, his skin is super thin and extremely sensitive. After one use, it helped with flakiness, itching, and the skin looked & felt moisturized. Fast forward 5 months…after using this conditioner 1-2 times a week, a change in diet, many trips to vet, some prescription medications, and making the transition from foster to official family member…his hair grown back in & his skin is soft, rosy pink, and blemish free :) He looks like a an extremely adorable normal dog again :)It's a nice, thick conditioner that won't spill if you knock the bottle over. Sometimes I massage directly on the skin/coat before rinsing. Sometimes I mix it with warm water in a basin & use a small cup to pour it over the entire body – like a rinse. Either way works for us.I decided to try it on my other Maltese and 2 Yorkies that don't really need a medicated antimicrobial conditioner. That' when I was totally blown away. This conditioner makes my Yorkie's long, silky coats look amazing! I was not expecting that at all. It gives the coat a super healthy shine, helps with frizzies, and gives the coat a nice drop without weight. It makes the Maltese’s coats super soft and fluffy! This is my new favorite conditioner, by far. And I have 4 little dogs that need daily grooming, so I have tried A LOT of coat products.Highly recommended.

This conditioner works miracles on dry, red, bumpy, itchy skin! I have a year and a half old dauchshund and he has had terrible skin allergies since I first got him as a puppy. Nothing seemed to work. I tried everything, even switched him to a grain free premium quality food and he still would basically break out in hives and loose hair sometimes! Being a dog groomer I was looking for a natural ingredient conditioner. Finally I found out about this product at the grooming expo and gave it a try. Within a week all the redness and flaky skin disappeared. Now we are going on 3 weeks and his hair is growing back in the spots it fell out! Right now I am using it on him once a week and I rub it in and leave it on for about 10 minutes. But once the hair is all grown back I will only be washing him every 4 to 6 weeks because excessive washing is also bad for dogs skin. I use it with the nature's specialties puppy and kitten shampoo.
