I had high hopes as sometimes I don't feel like standing at the stovetop making ramen. While this does work, to me, it's simply not the same as making it on the stovetop. When you add boiling hot water in it, it becomes very soft so you need to be careful you don't spill.

This product is awesome! The bowl it itself is incredibly thick and definitely microwavable safe while it's also tremendously easy to clean. I also love how this product had come included with attached chop sticks, I feel like it was a nice added touch to the simplicity and overall I'd definitely recommend giving this a try!

Yes yes yes. Makes cooking Raman so easy even my kids can do it! Clean up is easy since no stove top is required. Have purchased multiple sets.

We have a different microwave ramen cooker that gets used fairly often. This bowl performed just as well and I do like how the bottom isn't totally flat. Ramen cooks in minutes and the noodles come out nice. I've put it in the dishwasher a few times with no issues. This is great for kids who want to eat ramen without having to use the stove. The chopsticks are a little short, but we use forks anyway.

I got a microwave ramen bowl a while ago, but it was ROUND. Packs of ramen are not round. This dish is the exact right shape and size to fit a brick of ramen, so all you have to do is add water and microwave per the instructions for your preferred noodle brand. If you’re eating noodle soup, just add the packet mix afterwards and stir. If you have the type of noodles that need to be drained before eating, that’s a bit trickier, but manageable. It comes with a pair of (attached, like a set of tongs/tweezers) chopsticks which aren’t the greatest, but… they’re also fine, and handy to have around.Basically, a clever little invention that I never knew I needed. I now need a second one to keep at work.

I’m going to start off by mentioning one of my favorite things about this is the instructions are printed on the bottom of the bowl as part of the bowl. I have another pasta type microwave dish I use all the time (from a different brand) and I can’t for the life of me remember the instructions and I just guess every time pretty much. I know it’s just ramen but they still did that anyways. As far as making the ramen goes, the timing instructions were correct. Everything about this feels sturdy and well-made, and my ramen-making went swimmingly/as expected.I almost didn’t order this because I could tell it was only meant for one ramen pack and you two-packers out there will be relieved to know you can do two at once, just fill the water level slightly higher (not too high, you don’t want to get hot water sloshed) and do the thing about three minutes in where you take it out and move around the noodles so they’re all under the water-ish.The chopsticks are a nice addition but you’re better off with regular chopsticks. But we don’t all have access to those all the time and these are very portably sized.

... I wish it was a little taller. It's a nice sturdy bowl, produced nicely cooked noodles, the water measure line is a great convenience and the cool to the touch handles really make it easy to transfer it to the table. I love the idea of a single durable dish to both cook and serve. i also like the wavy bottom that helps provide a sure grip for one handed holding while eating. The chopsticks are just 'mehhhh'. i can't imagine ever using them but they may be good for young children just learning how to use chopsticks. The main issue for me, and why I deducted one star, is simply that the dish could be a little deeper and allow for the addition of other ingredients. I planned on adding a raw egg and a small can of fish, but after putting the egg in the soup level was less than 1/4" from the top and I decided not to push my luck. I didn't end up adding any fish. Adding less water or pouring some off after cooking is an option but the broth strength is going to increase. I like drinking all the broth and not a fan of that option. ;-)Adding just an egg, moving it to the table took some care to prevent any spillage. For those that typically don't add much (or anything) to their ramen I'm sure it's just fine, but in my opinion, it really should have enough bowl height to accommodate some reasonable additions.

I bought one of these a couple years ago and loved it so much that I got 3 more. I use daily, so decided to add 1 more to the rotation so that I would have 5 total. This thing has come in handy for so many things. When traveling, I always pack this and a couple of ramen in my carryon. Most places I stay have access to a microwave and ramen travels so well. This ramen cooker makes it easy to heat up ramen on the go. Additionally, the design of this makes it so easy to microwave so many other things. I use to heat up my oatmeal and soup daily. It is the perfect size and the handles on the side allow me to handle it without needing a hot pad. Plus, it is dishwasher safe and so easy to clean. I can’t imagine making ramen without it and whenever all my ramen cookers are dirty and I have to use a bowl and break up the ramen to make it fit and grab hot pads to remove the bowl from the microwave, it reminds me why I love this so much. It is probably my favorite and most used kitchen gadget ever. Highly recommend!
