To be fair, the ad never promised that the item would be precisely 3/8 inches but it is out quite a bit: 13/32. I bought it to fit into a 3/8 inch bore cylinder. The inside of that cylinder is exactly 3/8 of an inch. As you can see, I had to sand it down quite a bit to fit it. Do not buy if you’re looking for exact measure.

The product looks very nice and packaged well but the size is slightly over 3/8”. Using multiple calipers these rods are actually 25/64”.

I used these acrylic rods to hold some reef rocks together in a new tank build. 3/8 rods were pretty strong, but half inch would’ve been better for large rocks
