I picked up a few of them to give them a go, and so fare we haven't been disappointed. I wish they came with a Plumbbob but for the price i understand.

This depth measuring tool is built tough and strong, and comes with a plumb bob weight that hooks onto a steel measuring tape. Simply drop the weight to the bottom of the tank, well, pond, or other container and read the depth. Or, roll the tape back in far enough to see the line from the top of the container. This tool is easy to use and effective, and takes up very little space. It's perfect for my needs.

We have an underground water tank that fills from an artesian spring. This measuring tape determines the depth of the remaining water in the tank.The tape measurements are large enough to read from some distance away and the piumb bob is heavy enough to do the job.
