Quick Setup and Pack Back:
1. Lay the Sun Shelter flat, make sure poles are fully extended and spread out. With both hands, pull top two strings upward.
2.Continue to pull the two cords up and out until the hubs come close together.
3.Pull until the upper and lower sections of the hub connect. As hubs get closer to connecting, the resistance will increase and the body of the shelter will bow out.
4.After it's locked in place, stake out the corners and guylines for added stability.
5.The tent is just as easy to pack away as it is to setup - just think about what you did in reverse

My son does track & field and has a meet in another city this Saturday. Meets run all day long, so shade for my athlete is absolutely a necessity. Product arrived and didn’t think anything would be wrong with it since it’s BRAND NEW - but on a whim decided to open it up and set it up before traveling out of town for the meet less than 48 hours - GOOD THING I DID!! Because 2 of the legs at the top of the “easy up” mechanism are BROKEN!!! Looking at arrival times to get a replacement tent will be impossible now that it’s Thursday and his meet is Saturday. So frustrating when I’ve paid so much for something that was either used and broken by someone else or just a piece of crap right out of the manufacturer. Doubt submitting this review will help anything except maybe to warn others not to trust that these tents are brand new and not already broken. Beyond disappointing and infuriating.

It was picked out by my children after breast cancer and we have been using it since! Has UV protection for myself and grandbaby. Easy set up by pulling up with the lock feature. Sand holds it down! A plus! Has little curtains to block or allow light or air!Been caught in the rain before, it blocks the water except the windows.Remember to wash off sand immediately because it will rust.Mine has some small spots, but it’s been taken care of!Worth the spend. Value for my monies..or should I say the kids!

Loved this tent! We used it on our beach trip and it’s so easy to put up! Very inexpensive and the best thing about it was the bright orange color! In a sea of blue tents on the beach, our tent was easily spotted from the condo or other end of the beach! Easily disassembled and weighs very little! Nice looking and could be used for backyard camping!

After previous experiences with difficult tents, I was looking for a beach tent that was easy to set up and breakdown.This tent is super intuitive and easy to set up/take down. I would say it is easier with two people as someone can hold the top of the tent while the other pulls the strings. However one person can easily break it down. It provides enough space for 2-3 people and I like that it has the vented windows on either side for air flow. The sandbags and stakes were enough to keep the tent secure on a windy day, plus we added our cooler and a chair inside to help weight it down.I don’t think it’s roomy enough for 4 adults - maybe 4 kids? And as another reviewer noted, the sand bags are sewn facing the tent, so it is a little difficult to empty them as they pour onto the tent. We also struggled to fit it back into the carrying case, but that was not a big deal to us.Overall, I would say this tent is good value for the money and worth buying. Happy with our purchase!

It's a great tent. Well constructed and easy to set up and take down. It is the perfect size with plenty room for my husband & myself. Have not been to the beach to use it yet! But anxious to test it out!!!

One of the most important things when it comes to beach tents or beach shelters or whatever you want to call these things, is the ease of putting it up and breaking it down. My wife and I had several of these in the past and find that this one is extremely easy to pop up and take down. Amazingly easy and quick, for that matter! So in our opinion, whoever came up with this design should get a raise. This also goes for the “privacy option”, which allows you to quickly fold up a part of the “floor” to change into some dry clothing right there and then.The manufacturer advertises 30 seconds for setting the tent/shelter/thingie up and folding it back together and we find this to be accurate and not an exaggeration. Pushing it back into its nylon carrying bag afterward is a slightly different matter, but as far as the two steps prior are concerned, this product is GREAT. Build quality seems to be solid but we’ve only had it for a few days now so we will have to wait and see how it holds up in the long run.My wife initially felt that the packaged tent was slightly too large to conveniently carry it, and compared to our previous ones, I also find its size to be borderline for our needs. However, this strictly pertains to bulkiness, not weight. And after we saw how easy it is to set it up and break it down, we immediately decided to keep it without hesitation: Ease of operation clearly won over our concerns regarding size when folded and schlepped.

The tent was so easy to set up and take down is was genius. Just make sure all legs are fully folded out to set up and the hex part sits into the slot at the top. When taking down, 2 legs have 2 folds and 2 legs have one fold. Beyond that there is nothing to go wrong. Good size. Sand bags worked very well. Windows for breeze worked well. Would buy another if i needed one.

This was the best buy ever!! Super easy and quick to put up and break down, it's not a two man job at all. I like how many sandbags are on it, it keeps it very secure. I am in South Florida and the sun can be brutal but this tent definitely keeps it several degrees cooler and the little windows provide a nice cross breeze to enjoy. Plenty of space, I've had up to 2 other adults (so 3 total) sit in the comfortably with me. It holds up pretty well with the rain little rain storms that pass by. On extremely windy days, the tent won't blow away due to the sandbags but the frame of it will collapse a bit where it folds at the hinge. I found trying to turn it a bit so the wind pushes on the hinge in the opposite way that it collapses helps and I also used the storage bag as an additional sandbag that I tied to the part that was bending the most as a counterweight and that helped too. It's very light weight so it's not an imposition in any way carrying it. It stores well, I just keep it in the trunk of my car.Overall, it's a great buy, plenty of ppl on the beach have asked where they can get one as well. I would definitely buy again.
