It's a good unit for the diy-er as long as you know that the wiring diagrams don't correspond to what you get.How to wire this thing: You need to forget the wire colors and just go from spot numbered 1 on the inside unit to spot 1 on the outside, then 2 to 2, 3 to 3 and green to green as shown in my pics.On the outside unit - you wire power normally, i.e. black, white, green. I used 12gauge plug that went into an outlet (20v breaker) inside the house instead of an outdoor switchbox because I'm lazy.So far so good, will chime back in if things change.

sorry no pictures. i installed this in our 43 ft RV, the front top A/C went out. the Back unit could not keep it cool and was running 24 hours a day and RV was running about 87 degrees inside. i bought the OLMO Alpic 12,000 BTU, 110/120V, 17.4 SEER2, Pre-charged Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner, drilled a hole thru the RV above the kitchen window and ran all the hose thru there, sealed up the hole and put the inside unit above the kitchen window.I put the outside unit behind it outside on the trailer rack that is attached to the RV and hooked everything up. this way if i move the RV i don't have to disconnect it.CAUTION....I DID HAVE TO BUY A POWER CORD TO CONNECT TO THE OUTSIDE UNIT TO PLUG IT IN AS IT DOES NOT COME WITH ONE.my neighbor who is a HVAC guy looked it over and gave it his blessing. turned it on and about three hours later the RV was at a steady 73 degrees. going to buy anther one to replace the back unit as it is going out now too. took about 2 hours total from the time i unpacked it and had it running. i consider this an easy install if you have basic knowledge of electric wiring and can turn a wrench, do not forget to open the 2 valves on the outside unit AFTER you hook in the cooling lines, they are covered with a brass nut, take the nut off use a hex tool and back them all the way out and the put the nut back on and turn on unit. it does come with a remote too. in my opinion it is more then worth it, i can but 2 of these units for my RV for less then the price of one RV A/C unit and it keeps it cooler then then and uses less electricity then one ac and they are QUIT i could not even hear it running. I Love it

Another case of trusting reviews.. real world buyer here, had this unit Profesionally installed to begin with, and low in freon out the box. Then 2 days after unit will not go into heat mode. Unit can not even cool a 200sqft room down to 75 degrees. Should have had it ripped out and returned while I had the chance. Now I'm so deep into it money wise it's just a fancy wall ornament. The customer service number doesn't even work. Spend you money on something better . If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Amazing price. Value. As long as you don’t need any additional wiring all good. We had a bracket already. So that’s an added expense but still under $1100 installed with bracket for our installer.

I did some research and this unit had some good reviews. Was a little difficult with doing install myself. I bought set of AC gages and learned how they worked. Bought vacuum pump too. Will now be able to do car or mini split AC service if needed.Hated the instructions for electrical connection. Cable supplied with purchase didn't match color code on units. I was able to read and understand diagrams in both inside and outside units. Wired correctly and working fine.Biggest downside is NO WARRANTY unless install done by Licensed HVAC installer. BS.I am educated in electronics and mechanical engineering. Was able to work through the speed bumps of poor wiring instructions. One of selling points on Amazon was warranty. Saved money buying the DIY version, but penalized NO WARRANTY for not having paid for installer.

Installed with no problem at all. My garage is 400 sf. Outside temp is approximately 102 as I write this. The 12,000 btu unit will not cool down the garage below 81. That is only 21 degrees cooler. My impression was this unit would cool my garage. If this is all the unit will do it should state that the unit will only cool that much. By the way, my garage is fully insulated. Outside walls have R-30 and the attic is the same. If I stand on one side of the garage opposite from the wall unit I cannot feel the cool air. The fan is set to cool and the fan is in the highest position. My neighbor installed a unit last week and it is also a 12,000 btu. It will cool his oversized garage in less than 20 minutes. I wish I had spent more money and purchased a differant brand
