This was exactly what I needed and worked great. For about a week! This morning was rearranging computer setup so unplugged HDMI cords then plugged it all back in and started it up. Could not get a signal. Then I decided to try a different HDMI cord and that worked but suddenly the bottom of the screen developed a static electrical thing and there were electrical sounds coming from the TV. I was afraid it was going to blow my TV up. I have my TV hooked up to my PC by the way so at first I also thought maybe it was my video card. In the end after much switching and checking HDMI cords and video cards and another TV it turns out that this device somehow burnt out my original HDMI cord and I can only assume was about to destroy my TV (and 2nd hdmi cord) with that electrical, whatever it was on the screen.I was so glad when I first got this because it resolved the hassle of plugging and unplugging different HDMI cords depending on what I needed. Unfortunately it only lasted for a week. I will never trust this company again as it could have destroyed my very expensive 4K qled TV.

This worked beautifully with all products in my system except my Sony UPB-X7000 blueray player. This player is a high-end product with ultraHD, true 4K, and HDR10. Is my experience expected and what splitter CAN i use in my system?

This splitter solved a problem we were having with multiple screen changing position. The cheaper splitter we were using, dropped connectivity on occasion causing the screens to rearrange. This splitter has been rock solid. (It should be for the price).

Bought this to split my signal from my Xbox series s to my razer capture card and tv without loosing quality. I already was compromising with 60hz instead of 120 at 4K but I was disappointed to fire up my Xbox and see that it only supports 50, at least for the series s. But it also doesn’t even tell you that. It says it doesn’t even support 50. (But it does, I also just bought brand new 8k cables just for this so that is not it) And it also doesn’t seem to allow HDR at all, or Dolby Vision. Overall I’m not very mad because it does its job at letting me stay at 4K while recording on my LG Oled tv. But it really does take a big hit in quality from it. (If the HDR worked I would have no complaints!!) I’ll have to see about the longevity and when it does break I will probably come up with a better solution but do what you will what that info!

I have been looking for a HDMI splitter for quite a while and have ordered several off of Amazon that did not work. This works exactly as described.My scenario is I have an older receiver for my surroundsound that does not support 4K video. We recently purchased a 4K TV. When I connected the TV through the HDMI connectors on the back of the receiver. It did not transfer the 4K signal. Using this splitter, I put my Amazon fire stick into the input, and one output, went to the TV and one output, went to my receiver for audio only. The signal going to the TV is a full 4K and the signal going to my receiver is HD. Works as described. I cannot comment on longevity because I’ve only been using it one week. Hopefully will continue to work for a long time.

I have an ice cream shop with a multi-camera security system. I have two monitors but only one HDMI port on my camera DVR. This product I bought has one input and four outputs, which is more than I need (at the moment). It was super easy to install and I have crystal clear pictures on both of my LED monitors. Also, this splitter was less than half the price at Best Buy. Very happy with my purchase!

I'm using this to split the output from a Chromecast Ultra to a 4K TV and an AV receiver. My receiver is old and doesn't support 4K passthrough, so I need a direct connection from my Chromecast to my TV in order to get 4K video. But I also want the best possible sound for my home theater.So far it is working great. My TV recognizes the 4K signal from my Chromecast, and my receiver gets a 5.1 signal.I had a similar unit from another manufacturer, but it only worked for about six months. Reviews from this and other similar devices seem to indicate a very short lifespan. However, unlike my previous device, this one has an on/off switch, so I'm hoping that keeping it off when not in use will extend the life. Fingers crossed.EDIT: In using this with my Chromecast Ultra I've learned that every time I first turn everything on, the Chromecast reverts back to 1080 video. Every time I want to watch 4K video I have to go into the Chromecast settings and change the display back to 4K, then power cycle this device. So it works, but it's not ideal.EDIT 2: I discovered that the problem I was having with my Chromecast was because of the Chromecast, not the splitter. I started having Chromecast problems even when it was connected directly to my TV. I purchased an Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max and it works perfectly with the splitter.

Used this HDMI splitter to split the output of my AV Receiver to both my TV and my Lytmi Sync Box . Works fine , and was easy to set up .

After trying multiple different brands, this HDMI splitter works as described. I have a 4k 60hz signal as an input - 4k 60hz TV and 1080p 60hz outputs. It delivers the right resolution to both tvs. No colour fade, no lag, amazing quality. It even works when my settings are at 10bit colour.Absolutely amazing device.
