We have bought these twice. The first set worked good enough. The next set we bought were junk. We had to go into troubleshooting mode. We checked the height of the cutter, the feed and speed. Everything looked good. The inserts were crumbling during the first few revolutions of the cut. We put in a high speed steel blade and finished the cutting with that. It seems as though the inserts didn't get the right heat treatment and that made them crumble.

Works well on low alloy metals. Run a little lower RPM than Iscar, Carbaloy, Kennametal etc. Not for production quantity work, but good for the price. Fits the blade well.

Worked surprisingly well. Clean cut, LESS chatter. I cannot speak of life span yet, but so far so good.
