I recently got the OSCARBIDE Carbide Inserts APKT1604 for my milling projects, and I'm impressed. These inserts have a TiAlN coating that really enhances their durability and performance. I found them to be incredibly efficient at cutting through various materials, making my work much smoother. The 10-piece box is a great value, and the inserts fit perfectly with my indexable milling tools. They’ve definitely improved the precision of my milling tasks.

I have been using a 3" face mill by CME and the included inserts. I always experienced pounding & a lot of rubbing. I hated using that face mill. But now with these Oscarbide inserts the face mill cuts like a dream. I get nice curls and no more banging as each cutter enters & exits the cut. I don't know what brand inserts came with the CME face mill, but they are terrible. I don't know how long the Oscarbide inserts will last yet. I have only run a few parts with it. But so far I am amazed by how much better they are than the included CME inserts.

My CNC usually gets 3 parts machined with a face Mill till bit change. These hold up amazingly well and the surface finish is first rate. I wish I’d found these sooner. I was not expecting this.

These carbide inserts work. These are some of the best carbide inserts I have ever used. I will be buying more of these in the future, but not in the near future because these things last for a while.
