There are no pre-drilled holes in the corresponding pieces, so the wood splits easily. The screws are extremely soft and almost all the heads stripped while assembling. It's altogether a flimsy product for the price. I expect it might last one season.

Bought two of these and both were very easy to assemble. directions were clear. My only knock is the wood is very easy to split if too much torque is used. but not catastrophic damage, still was able to complete assembly. they look nice when completed. A suggestion would be to add magnetic clasps to hold the window panels closed.

Good product. Took about two hours to assemble, taking my time to confirm panel alignment before affixing each piece. Prepping the ground to install it soon. Hopefully it remains stable with time and exposure to the elements.

Let's start with assembling this thing as that will be the first thing you need to do after you unbox it. The instructions are weak at best and are just illustrations. It's difficult at times to figure out which direction a piece should face. Then to further complicate matters they have parts labeled with letters, some are capitalized and some are small. Don't know why they didn't just continue with the alphabet as they had plenty of letters left. They used capitals for the top half of the greenhouse and small for the bottom. But it's easy to confuse a capital C with a small c unless you hold them side by side. So that was a poor choice on the manufacturers part. They also didn't pre-drill the holes you are putting the screws into which makes it harder to align the pieces. They have holes for the top piece but not the one you are screwing into below. There are also a lot of knots in the wood and some of the screws will end up inside a knot. This makes for an unstable joint and one of the parts I received was cracked at two of the knots. Appears they are using scrap wood to manufacture these as there are spots where they use filler to patch voids in the wood.I contacted the company to get a replacement for the damaged part and they responded within two days and told me they would send out a replacement. They were good to their word and about ten days later I received a whole complete new unit. Guess they don't have replacement parts available. While it's nice they did this what do I do with the extra 95% of a greenhouse. When assembled the unit looks good. It's very light weigh and you may want to tie or stake it down. It has no bottom so depending on where you are going to use this you may want to add one or perhaps a shelf inside. As some plants will sit too low if you just sit them on the floor. I am putting this on my deck. I would not recommend putting it directly on the ground. I'm sure i will rot away after a couple of seasons.I have not yet put any plants inside of it so I can't speak of how well it works. Still waiting for the weather to warm up. Hoping it keeps the animals out of the plants.

My husband and I are not gardeners with any success record. So for our summer project, we decided to give it one more try...with a greenhouse (no birds or bunny help). We set the greenhouse up on concrete blocks with a couple of 2 X 6 across them - then the greenhouse on top. We are using containers within the structure. In less than 2 weeks we have leaves and great-looking growth in the containers that are in the greenhouse. We are located in the desert - the top doors allow the plants to remain moist and grow! The greenhouse has given us an encouraging measure of success (and excitement!). This was such a great purchase for us.

The lid is very light weight. Not the sturdiest. I love that it's made from cedar but that's why it's so light weight. We put new hinges on it with better screws. Easy to put together. Love the look of it. We used it for a chick brooder and now for our strawberry house.
