Just had my new Panasonic Z85 OLED 65” TV delivered and set up by Amazon Delivery. It is replacing a ten year old Samsung. Out of the box with no adjustments and streaming from an Apple TV, the picture looks AMAZING!!!! It is bright and vibrant with great and natural looking colors.I included a picture but it does NOT do this tv justice. It truly is a sharp and beautiful picture! Awesome quality! This picture looks better than the LG and TLC tvs I saw at Best Buy. I highly recommend this TV! ❤️❤️❤️Note: some have said the picture is not as bright as other tvs but IT LOOKS FANTASTIC! I’m watching it next to a window at 3:00 in the afternoon and reflections are very minimal. I don’t notice any reflections really unless I look for them. Again, the picture I posted with this review really doesn’t do this tv justice.Buy this and don’t think twice! It’s Panasonic so it’s built great, looks beautiful, and it comes with a great little sound system on the back of it with just enough bass to enjoy but not wake the neighbors. 😍😍😍 LOVE IT!!!!!

This TV is an insane deal. right around 1100 dollars for a 65" OLED is wild. The picture quality is absolutely wonderful and sits right up there with the LG models that are hundreds of dollars more expensive. Brightness is good, but I would be wary of using this TV in a very bright room. The FireTV interface is absolutely fine. My only issue with this TV, and it's probably just some feature that I have not uncovered, is that even with adaptive brightness turned OFF I will suddenly have content become noticeably dimmer. This is prevalent after an Ad or other screen-overlay content appears over a YouTube video. That issue aside, it's so great to have an option for an affordable OLED TV from a company like Panasonic, who years ago was known for their high quality TVs.One note, and I won't ding my review score for the TV for this, Amazon TV delivery is an absolute gamble. The delivery people do not show the same care for delivering these items that companies like Costco and Best Buy will. Generally, TVs are supposed to stay upright in the box when delivered. My TV was upside down and leaning between two other heavy packages in the delivery truck. Everything ended up fine, but it would be nice to have some confidence that the delivery items are better secured in the truck during transit.

Just got my 65" hooked up. Love it. Have everything running through Apple TV so I can't speak to the Fire connectivity. Setup was a breeze. Picture looks great. I run all my sound thru my receiver so I can't speak to that either. Does anyone still use the TV speakers? One little side effect is that the lag I was having when I switched channels on YouTube TV is gone. I guess the HDMI from my receiver to the TV is faster somehow. Like I said I just got it hooked up and tried it out with several different sources-movie from my Apple library, Netflix, YouTube TV-and they all look great. Went from an LG 55" C8 OLED to this. It's early in the game but I'm happy with this purchase. Especially at this price point which was $1100 at the time I bought it.

This OLED has an AMAZING picture, regardless of the price point. It does a phenomenal job with upscaling and smoothing HD content. If you use DirecTV or another provider at 720p or 1080p, you'll be amazed at how good this TV can make things like old episodes of Seinfeld look. The Z85A out performs my LG G4 at this and I actually prefer it's picture over the G4 which is over twice the price of the Z85A. It also outperforms the G4 on image depth and making them 3-dimensional The only drawback to this display is its brightness level. If you put it in a room with a couple of windows and moderately bright ambient light, you'll have no issues. I tested this TV in the afternoon in a room that has 4 windows and a full view glass door and it was just barely under my preferred brightness level - probably would do fine had I closed blinds on a couple of windows.BTW, I am a project foreman for a large high-end commercial AV integrator so I know video products well and this TV is a homerun!! Thank you Panasonic for another great product, I've missed you!!!

OLED with very close to LG performance (LG B3/4). No DTS is the only real drawback along with not being able to get it to work with Google Home even though it says it can. It's a great deal with ATSC 3.0 included and 2 full HDMI ports, OLED picture quality at 1000 bucks...hard to beat! Fire TV is usable but limited compared to my Shield TV/Google TV interface. Hence the 4 not 5 star review. Still feels like a great deal for the price!

Bought this after(finally) convincing the wife that TV's are not like fridges or washing machines: you don't just buy one every 12-15 years! This television does NOT disappoint. Picture is great, really crisp, contrast is fantastic. Upscaling of 1080p content is superb (not so much standard def). Tons of setting options(maybe too much? Nahhh!). The REAL star of this TV is the sound system-5.1 surround with Dolby Atmos. Music, You Tube Videos, concert dvd's-especially blu-rays & 4K's-sound like you are at the concert/taping. FANTASTIC! NO need for a sound bar. Great job, Panasonic.PS Amazon unpack service was excellent-WELL worth the extra cost: set up & unboxing helped save me a couple of hours of possible frustration!
