These rail are sturdy, but the mounting holes are not quite square. The vertical dimension is 9.1mm vs 9.5mm horizontally. In addition, the finish coating rounds off the inside corners of the square holes a little too much. The end result is a rack mount hole that doesn't quite fit a Rackstud. It's not bad enough to return, but if there were a different 7U rail easily available on Amazon I would. Instead, I will take a small file to the finish on the inside corners in order to square them up.

It's good but there's one big problem: You need slightly more than 19" from wall to wall, otherwise many of the gear won't fit!There is just a little over 12mm from center of holes to wall, compare that to your other racks and you will see that you might be missing ~2-3mm, just enough to drive you... nuts.

In trying to find a halfway decent used rack for under $100, I gave up and built one. It turned out amazing.Good quality, solid rails - arrived unbent. Would buy again.

I was building a custom small rack for a few switches in my home. This was the perfect rail and met my needs. Very heavy duty and look great.

These are good rails, suitable for a square-hole retrofit of a rack from round holes. However the rails are 18-19mm wide, where many original rails are 15-16mm, meaning that you can lose about 6mm of total spacing. That wasn't a problem for a lot of servers & their rails, but a few devices were very tight tolerances and no longer fit. Considering racks have oval holes, keeping to 15mm would have kept compatibility. Also U markings would have been appreciated.

Was shipped and came quickly, but only received one rail. Send seller a message and they promptly shipped out the second which I also received quickly. Awesome quality, heavier gauge metal than rails in cheap network cabinets that I have used. I used these to build a DIY network rack for my home lab.
