I gave item a three because it loses it integrity (pressure) when spraying. However, it does quiet the belt down to a degree. Overall it does work.

The belt on the mower is very worn, but I wanted to wait to service the mower (including the needed belt replacement) until the season is done, since some disassembly is required on my particular mower to replace the main drive belt. I was frankly amazed at how well this product worked! My mower was restored to full function, the slippage stopped completely. I am aware that this wears off, it's not permanent, but it saved me having to have the mower taken apart during the mowing season! I will keep Permatex Belt Dressing around all the time!

Product was well-packaged in a box that was filled with packing paper. The can itself was dented on the bottom and in the side. The red straw was cracked and smashed, so not usable to insert in the tip of the can and could not use for a thin spray onto the fan belts. Poor spray from the damaged can. Cannot endorse a damaged can product.

I went to spray this and it barely dribbled out. I guess in transit it loss all of its pressure or is really old?
