Seems like a great idea. But the only thing that prevented me from using it was the warning. The dog can't lick it. I have two dogs who lick and bite each other all day. I don't want them sick. So for that reason I pass. Also I have a Australian shepherd. i fill it would take that whole bottle to apply to his hair.

I highly recommend this oil for dogs with fine fur that mats easily. I use this oil on my great pyrenees behind her ears. The fur is so fine around her ears that it tangles easily. This oil helps to detangle and prevent mats from forming in that very fine fur. I just put a few drops in my hands, rub them together, and then finger comb through the fur. If there are tangles present, then I use a metal comb to work them out after the oil has been applied. Also, it smells great. It is a potent powder fresh floral type scent, reminds me of the fragrance used at the groomers. It is lovely and lasts for days. My dog doesn’t seem to mind it and actually gets excited when I put it on her. Great price point for this oil and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend!
