This has been working out great for us! We have smooth hard floors and this thing grips! (Saves us from both the dog AND my kids feet LOL!) - I like that I can use it both with or without the bowl insert, been using it mainly as the water dish (which seemed to always get knocked over!) but make sure the floor under this stays dry! Lifts easily when peeling straight up on an edge -9.6/10 a winner for me!

Great two in one bowl. The set came with the silicone bowl/mat along with a metal bowl. The metal bowl can be removed and the silicone bowl/mat can be used a bowl itself. I like that the mat has a lip at the edge to prevent things from getting on the floor. I use the mat part for kibble for my dog and the metal bowl in the center for water. Easy to clean and convenient of having food and water in the same area. Great design.

The concept is good, but the metal bowl that comes with this is ridiculously small. Using a bigger bowl is challenging because the rubber part is meant to hold a very small bowl.

We actually got this as a water bowl because our frenchie loves to flip his water bowl. But to small for that. But great bowl for food. Especially fresh food keeps little bits off floorLove it

The bowl is a lot smaller than I thought as I did not look at the dimensions. The plan was to utilize this for the dog since he pushes his bowl around everywhere while eating. But my bully just gets to much food and I do not think the bowl would stand a chance to this professional licker (bully owners understand). I decided that the cats would get a new food bowl which worked out great. I captures all their food spill over and is more difficult for my wife's cat who likes to push bowls off the side of their eating table to accomplish his goals in life. The bowl itself is a thin non-magnetic (probably stainless) matte finish metal that is adequate for its intended use. The silicon holder holds it to the floor (if it is clean) and also catches the spill over. It is a nice bowl but I do not think the price is a bargain. Just my 2 cents

The Petyouyou Spill Proof Dog Bowl is a charming addition to any small dog's dining setup. Its compact size is perfectly suited for smaller breeds. The inclusion of a stainless steel bowl within a seemingly oversized silicone holder might raise eyebrows at first glance. However, this design choice becomes understandable for pets prone to making a splash during drink or meal times, offering a neat solution to keep the feeding area clean. The bowl's aesthetic is undeniably cute, fitting well into a pet-friendly home decor.Figuring out an effective way to fold the silicone base for travel purposes proves to be less intuitive than one might hope. On the upside, the bowl excels in stability; its non-skid feature works flawlessly on both vinyl flooring and carpet, ensuring it stays put during use. This makes it a reliable, stationary bowl for home use, even if its on-the-go functionality could use some refinement.

I really like the idea. My pug Alice is a messy eater and likes to drop bits of food around her bowl that she will eat later. This silicon bib/tray with the integrated bowl holder and stainless-steel bowl that fits on top looked really neat. When it arrived, I was surprised by how small the bowl was. It is small diameter even for my pug who doesn’t eat a lot. On the other hand, it is quite deep. About double what you would expect from this diameter bowl.I have three pugs and they all have to be fed in separate spaces. The first problem I had was holding all three bowls at once. I usually hold two in one hand while I put one down for my first pug. Two bowls with this floppy one being one of them, was really hard to hold without spilling Alice’s food. Once I got round to putting Alice's bowl on the floor, the first thing I noticed is that when she steps up to her bowl, she stands on the silicon tray underneath. This means that she doesn’t push the bowl all over the floor while eating, and it catches the mess she drops. That part was great. The problem I had was that Alice has a bad back and so usually eats from a slightly raised bowl. This one was not raised and, if anything, was perhaps a shade lower than a normal bowl. So I could see that Alice struggled a little with it.Overall, I really like it. I wish it was taller, but that is specific to my little girl. If she was younger, this would be perfect for her and I’d recommend it to anyone with a young, messy eater that doesn’t have a bad back. The price is a bit steeper than I’d like, but it does prevent mess on the floor and the silicon is relatively easy to wash off with dish soap.

My puppy jumps around in his play pen area quite a bit. He was constany jumping and landing in his water bowl, which created a huge wet mess all over the floor. It was a bit frustrating cleaning up his area multiple times a day. I came across this bowl and decided to give it a try. The results are splendid! I am pleased to report that ever since I ordered this bowl for the puppy, I haven’t had to clean up a water mess. Not even ONE! The base has a flat surface and the bowl itself is contained in a circular cut out. The material of the base has non skid properties. The design prevents the bowl from being knocked over. I am also a very big fan of the bowl being stainless steel. I like using stainless steel due to its non toxic components. The stainless steel bowl is able to easily be removed for a quick, easy clean up in the sink. Overall, I am very happy with the product.
