Pros: For those with dermatillomania or any repetitive body-picking disorder, this is handy. I was engrossed for a short while with them. The shapes and colors are fun and all small enough to to take along with you.Cons: These are only single use. No re-melting to get to use it over and over.It was incredibly awkward to use. I found the tiny beads, once freed, an immediate mess. There is nowhere to put them, not inclusion for them, so in trying to be clean with them, they almost always got knocked off the table, out of a bag, and onto the ground, making a horrible choking hazard for little ones. I was not happy with that. Also, because of the lack of foresight for the little beads, I also found it was no travel-friendly. It's sticky and gummy, so sticking it in a bag would make a major mess of it. It would have been nice to have a small container included for this purpose.I will also say that I had quickly wished that these came with beds of varying sizes all in one picky pad.Overall, I was disappointed and wish I had gone with something else instead. I would not recommend these.

These are great small, portable, picky pads but I do wish they came with a carrying case like so many others do. The beads are quick to fall out and make a mess everywhere.

These pads are a great idea and they really do work as a fidget but the beads are so small that the tips of my fingers got sore from pulling them out. Maybe this wouldnβt be a problem with someone with fingernails but I donβt really have any which is kind of the entire reason I wanted to try these. Another problem with the small beads is that it makes for a very messy fidget. Youβre going to need a container on hand to put the removed beads. The material that these are made of also dries out my hands which I suppose to preferable to attacking your skin.I have seen some version of these on Pinterest where you can microwave the pad to reuse it; this does not seem to be possible with this product.

Not crazy about the label of "skin picking pad". However, it is a great sensory gadget. My grand kids love the feel of squishy, rubbery things. There are so many in the package, it is wonderful, and this will last me a while. I will use these as diversions during car rides. You can do them over a cup or bowl and reuse the beads for another type of project. I like to put liquid glue down on a cardboard backing or another firm surface and drop the beads into the glue to make designs. It's nice to give the beads a 2nd use. The beads come out easy, but still require some effort. Sometimes, a little of the rubbery material comes off with them, but not too bad. There is a second layer underneath the top layer of picking beads, but it looks like that is more for looks/decoration. Those beads in the second layer are very deep and spread out. I don't think those are meant for the "picking". This is a great diversion for fun, but also a great diversion or replacement for bad habits like biting nails. I tend to bite my nails during intense movie scenes and will have to give these a try instead.
