We got this for our son when he was about 6months old. Like every other toy he’s received, there was a delay in the time we got it and the time he started playing with it —which is about 1 month. But from 7 months old to now (16 months) this I has been his favorite toy. He learned very quickly how to press the button to get it started on his own. And Not a single day goes by that he doesn’t press that button. From 9-11 months, he would play with it for close to an hour at a time—which in baby time, that’s years. But, beware of the obnoxiousness that comes with this. Unfortunately there is no sound option, which means it is just constantly on Loud. Also, when you first put the batteries in, the vent is so strong, the balls would shoot out, and because he wasn’t as mobile back then, it would be my husband and I chasing the balls around the living room making him laugh and putting it back in the tube, only for him to start the process all over again—at least until he got more mobile. Why we didn’t take it away you ask? Because we made the decision to buy it for him and he absolutely loved it, so we lived with it.I’ve learned as a parent to not buy obnoxious toys for friends who have kids unless they have expressed consent—why? Because I wouldn’t want anyone buying it for my kid. If this is for your child, I would highly recommend but know that you are making the decision with awareness—As I write this the music with the little “yeah!” Plays in my head on repeat…If it’s for a friend or family member—don’t do it to them (unless you get consent). They will hold it against you for eternity.

I bought this for my youngest grandson and he enjoyed playing with it very much. The balls pop out randomly and quickly and he chases the balls and loads them back up. Even his older brothers at age 8 liked to play with him and the toy.

Really loud and have to chase the balls around because they pop out super far sometimes. I also don’t like how it will run sometimes for 1 seconds and sometimes 30 seconds before pressing the button. My kids love it but it’s not my favorite…. lol. Maybe once they’re a little older it will be better for me.

This was just as much of a hit as I had hoped. Bough over a year ago, and both of my daughters (now 2 and 3.5 years old) still get a real kick out of it. Only disappointment: not nearly as loud as I had expected from other reviews. I was amused by what others had written, and was anticipating a lot more. Maybe I was fortunate to get a quieter one

We had this for our older son and he loved it. While moving houses, we did not bring it along. So, had to buy it for my little one. Both my 4 year old and 1.5 year old love it. The balls are colorful and pop out and go back in on their own. Some do , pop here and there and the boys run around to collect them. The toy needs 4 D size batteries that you need to purchase separately. The batteries last a decent amount of time depending on how much the toy is played with. I bought Nippon Batteries rathen than Duracell coz Duracell was 10 times the price. The batteries have been in since 3 weeks and still playing - the toy is played with thrice a week or so maybe for 1/2 hour just to give you an idea of battery consumption
