These work well and are easy to screw into wood, especially if you make a pilot hole first. However, many of the latches on them tend to stick open. It’s not a deal breaker, but something to consider before you purchase.

Got these to help with hanging stuff from ceiling and from beams in the basement. A bit tought to screw in directly into the wood, but once the thread takes a bite, it goes in no problem. Very tough. Used to hang some lights from these and the whole thing feels super sturdy.

Bought these to hang items in my garage. Unlike many hooks I have tried to use, these don't immediately break whilst trying to thread them into a material. Like the clip so things don't slip off the hook. Do predrill to make life easier.

I have bought several packages. And one for a gift. I use them to hang our Christmas lights, and decorative lights around our patio. We live 25 miles south the Canadian border in Montana and it can get rather cold. I took my Christmas lights down day after New Year’s , and the hooks were easy to use when it’s cold . Easiest hook I’ve ever used on our Christmas lights.

These screws with eye hooks seem to be very high quality as they are thick and heavy weight. However, they started to bend once I got to the last 2-3 turns . This means that unless you put them in very lightly and no more than half way, they are really only good for one time. My favorite thing about these screws with eye hooks is the carabiner style which ensures safety and the screws are super sharp, making them easy to screw the, I’m with no power tool required.

I was very happy with the hanging hooks, easy to install, though we used two people to do so and are lasting well, no rust or falling apart, supports lights well.
