Awesome radio headset. Clear sound and long distance range for a great selection of music.

I was pleasantly surprised at what a good sound quality this has. Takes 2 double AAs and youre good to go. Enjoy listening to local radio stations while shoveling snow, can hear easily and clearly even when over my stocking cap.

They are sufficient, quality of sound not so much, but what do you expect for the low price??

When you first turn these headphones on, the sound quality is decent for just a few (2-3) minutes. But before even five minutes have elapsed, the sound gets increasingly distorted, with the distortion rapidly getting worse until the music or speaking is completely unintelligible. Progressing to complete distortion takes only about six minutes. I tried to use these at the gym or working outside, and they are useless for any extended listening. The distortion continues unless they are left off for 15-20 minutes. In other words, the problem is not solved by turning them off and then immediately turning them back on. It is as though the chips get "hot" and have to cool off before the headphones provide good sound quality again. I have purchased similar models of headphones from China before for similar prices, and those headphones did not have this problem. These headphones demonstrate deterioration in quality. The photos include a small green sticker above the left earpiece that says "Q.C. PASSED". I assumed that meant a Quality Control Inspector passed these headphones for sale.

It should be noted that if you are in a bad reception area a desktop radio is for you. They have a longer aerial and draw in stations better than a headphone radio. They also usually have bass and treble adjustments headphones don't have this option.

A great price for a decent headset. The brand is Hanwis. The model is HA-108. It does indeed tune in 50 to 108 Mhz, which is extended well below the normal FM radio frequencies common in the U.S. It also lets you tune in .1 Mhz steps. This is all very nice for tuning in some personal FM transmitters for watching TV or listening to music without disturbing others. Some of those transmitters use frequencies below standard radio station frequencies. These headphones allow you to receive them. These are indeed stereo. You can switch it from stereo to mono. As usual, mono reception is a bit cleaner than stereo. The volume is decent, but does not get up to painful levels if that is your thing. And yes, you can only store one station, unfortunately. The FM station search is pretty fast. If you have a lot of stations in your area, it will take a bit of button pressing to get past them. It will not let you force it to skip them to get to the frequency you want. That may annoy people who search around several regular stations and want to find them quickly. When it finds a station you don't want, you have lift your finger off the button and press and hold again for it to start searching. So far, I haven't needed to extend the antenna to get good reception. These are pretty comfortable with plenty of padding in the headband, but as another reviewer stated, the angle of the earpiece may need to be "adjusted" to fit flush on your ears. Overall I gave it 5 stars because it was better than expected and did everything advertised.

Nothing really beats the Radio Shack's https://www.amazon.com/RadioShack-AM-Stereo-Headset-Radio/dp/B002HMH0ZC . Is (was?) actually made by Koss & the sound Q is at par with studio "headies". But... let me explain. I have an "amateur FM station" on my house (+ 2 rack units for outside gigs). Awhile ago I got 6 of these Radio Shack, then I wanted 2 more for wireless band monitoring for band rehearsals. The 2 newer ones were "upgrades" of the 4 original ones & not as good. One completely broke & have yet to try to fix it. OK, so let me get 2 cheapies to use when I'm only silently watching TV at home. No need for high Q audio & ordered 2 stylish cheapies, that happen to have BT. Kind of comfortable, decent sound & BT... terrible FM reception & on top of that, in mono !!!. Returned them next day. Now, these can be mono or stereo. FM reception... ah. Audio... less than ah. Comfort... well, here we go. Between your ears & your head, there should be an angle spread wider towards the back of your head. Even my other Koss, Sennheiser or AKG > over the ear
