2012 Kia Optima 2.0l. 97k miles about.New bushing fits as it should. If you haven't done this before, it seems like a big job but it isn't bad. Unhook the battery first.Watch your electrical connections during disassembly and make sure you get all of them unhooked. Reassembly is simple and nothing can go back in the wrong place.Drop the steering assembly carefully, Its heavy and awkward (on this car anyway) and don't turn the wheel after its out. Clean out the debris from the steering assist joint well. Double check you have seated the new bushing correctly. Otherwise, this is a pretty simple job.

Works great in a Kia Optima. The noise is gone from the steering and it drives like new.

Working as advertised. If you haven't done this job, be sure you watch the correct YouTube videos. There are differences in the steering column mounting at the back where it's difficult to see. This part goes in easily, took maybe 10 seconds to get the motor teeth aligned, then good to go. You need a plastic, body panel pry bar, a long phillips screwdriver, 10, 12 and 14mm sockets, a T30 Torx. A few bucks for this part, the dealer wanted $500 for the repair.

This issue is common for this car. The part is cheap, but the labor is intense. If you try to do it yourself, watch the many YouTube videos.
