This was for my 2014 equinox and the switch broke on the drivers side. This was easy enough to change with a little youtube help! Much cheaper then taking it to a mechanic

Initially, the switch worked just fine... for about four months. Now, the horizontal part of the switch responsible for moving the seat forward and backward, no longer works in the forward direction. It was intermittent at first, but now it does not work at all in the forward direction. So, until I'm able to afford and purchase a replacement, I'm stuck with my seat being so far back, it feels like I'm trying to reach the pedals and steering wheel from the back seat.In the product description, it states that the switch comes with a lifetime warranty and to contact their customer support if you have any issues. Unfortunately, I am unable to find any contact info for their customer support department anywhere, and Amazon tells me that it's past the return date (30 days from receiving the product).tldr; You can buy this cheap switch, and then have to buy and install another one when it stops working (after the 30 day return window has passed, of course), or you can bite the bullet and pay more for a GM/AC Delco factory OE switch. I'm quite certain it will last longer than this one.
