Product arrived promptly and well packaged. Fit and finish was good and installation went very well. Nice improvement to appearance over stock silver calipers.

I bought the Powerstop S2808 front calipers for my 2005 Acura RSX Type-S and installed then in 2/2017. I was a little suspicious for both front "performance" calipers for only a little more than the price of one remanufactured caliper from other suppliers.Initially I was very pleased with them. Powerstop claims they are powder coated. Either they are lying or the process is very cheap and not done correctly because they began to flake only after a couple months of daily driving.Fast forward to today (3/2020), about 3 years later. The passenger side front caliper began sticking and my brakes got super hot. I am pretty sure I slightly warped my front rotor. I sent Powerstop support an email about replacing under warranty. Surprisingly I heard back with in 24 hours. I sent my proof of purchase and didn't hear back from them for a couple days so I sent another email. They replied with a very short response and said they would be sending a replacement when it is available. I asked when that will be and I am still waiting on a response. I will update this review later.Like the title says, you get what you pay for. They are cheap but the quality is below par and the customer service is not the greateat. After I get this replacement caliper I will not be purchasing these again. I will be buying from a different remanufactured company or go to a big brake kit in the future.

The calipers are using rebuild OEM part. The red paint is not perfect, some chips and missing paint. If you could wait, you should go buy from some where which could refund for the core charge.

When I ran into a frozen caliper piston while changing rotors and pads on my 2003 S2000, I was forced to purchase a new set of front calipers. No auto supply stores had them locally except the Honda dealer. When I found the Power Stop S2808 on Amazon for almost the same price as standard re-manufactured calipers, it was a no-brainer to go with that sweet red powder coated option. Some reviewers complain about the metal brake pad retaining clips not fitting due to the slightly modified dimensions caused by the layer of powdercoat material. This might be true if you use the clips supplied with your pads themselves. But Power Stop included the clips in the box, and they fit perfectly. After replacing the brake fluid (Honda DOT3), flushing the system, and performing a modest break-in procedure on the new pads (Stoptech Street) and rotors (Centric 120) the new brake setup is wonderful. I am confident these calipers are going to last a long time, and look good, too.My only regret is that I didn't purchase the rear set at the same time. Now I have to finish the job another day...

BEWARE there is only 1 caliper, not 2! Very misleading.

They are as described. As others have mentioned, the paint job isn't perfect, but the calipers themselves are good quality. Just remanufactured OEM with new boots and seals.

Fantastic!! It fit my 2008 Civic Si Sedan perfectly and it's easy to recommend it to anyone! It's easy to get caliper grease on it when you install them but it's just as easy to wipe them off. The bled easily and quickly with the Motive pressure bleeder so no complaints there. The only thing that's different between the OEM calipers and these are the bolt sizes for the caliper sliding pins. I think OEM is 14mm and these are 12mm, if I remember correctly. Otherwise it's a straight forward process.

I had to return the first set I received because the powdercoat was already chipped in several spots. The second set wasn't perfect but still much better than the first set. I also noticed the piston on one of the calipers had some pitting but nothing major. Overall I am satisfied and would purchase again.
