This light was awesome! We used it when we didn’t have power after Milton. I turned it on and pointed it at the ceiling and it lit up an entire room for hours. The radio was fun to have and I was able to keep the flashlight powered with the crank. Definitely worth the purchase!

Bought several of these for family emergency kits. We tested them out and the siren is loud the emergency radio station was fine the weather station was good. ( If i remember the stations correctly) I dont remember having an issue otherwise I would have returned it. It is not heavy either. Love the fact that it is solar.

Already have a decent portable radio with SSB -- and when it's kaput it'll make a jim-dandy paperweight. So, for a very reasonable price, this unit will potentially correct not only that information function, but several others as well. Usability, quality and function seem to be adequate-- but of course it's no piece of military comms gear, either!

I got this for a trip we were taking in case of emergencies. My husband checked it out before we left and he was surprised at how well it sounded. This is a great emergency device.

I like the solar charge as well as the recharge option. The crank feature for emergencies is an even bigger plus. Flash light has multiple settings and can shine fairly far. The radio feature has a decent sound for a "flashlight". I purchased this to have an option to recharge my phone in an emergency situation. I tested this feature and it works. I may purchase another one.

I was looking for a flashlight to help take my dogs out. I wanted something rechargeable since getting stuck with out batteries is a huge hassle. Finding a product like this is great. The crank is super easy to use and a great way to charge something when there isnt an outlet available. The fact that you can charge other USB devices from also gives some flexibility if there is no other power source available. The radio works good enough, sound kind of sucks, but I didn't really buy for that. The weather broadcast option is cool though. The one thing I don't like is this thing is thick and pretty long. If you have small hands or pockets it can be a bit awkward to have. Still a good value overall.Note: you can't produce a lot of power with a hand crank and tiny solar panel, so don't expect this to charge your phone to 100% on its own, that is impractical. That is not a fault on the product, that is just how energy generation works.

We chose this emergency flashlight to include in our emergency backpack following a series of emergency weather situations in our area. The box it arrived in displayed images of scenarios when having such a tool would prove beneficial. Upon unboxing, we found that there was multiple ways to charge this device, although the USB port was the best, and easiest, method. It would likely take quite awhile to charge via the hand crank, but I guess that is true for most items like this and to be reserved for emergency situations. Charging via USB worked well however and produced more than enough charge for us to learn about and test all the product's features and to use it nightly for dog walks for over a week now (and still working, although will need to charge again soon). The flashlight has 5 modes (high/med/low/SOS/emergency strobe. The antenna telescopes out, and is recessed when not in use. We could not get it out without using a key to push it forward. (This was also true for the recessed solar panel). We were able to tune the radio fairly easily to an FM station before we read the instructions and managed to tune it further after a bit of trial and error (and some reading). My one concern is the hand turning crank. It feels fragile, and I would be concerned it may break if I was using it in a real emergency situation.Overall we do like this product. We decided to pack it in our emergency backpack but will include some additional flashlights as well.
