I ordered this 20 to 40 PSI Pressure switch for my irrigation well pump. It looks much the same as the standard well pump pressure switches. Internally the components look well–made. After fitting it to my irrigation well, the high pressure switch cut out at 45 PSI; with some minor adjustment I got it to cut out at 40 PSI.The low pressure switch cut in at 25 PSI. Even when I removed all tension from the cut-in switch, it would not drop below 25 PSI. Guess I can live with a cut-in switch at 25 PSI.The nut that holds the black cover in place is a loose nut. Depending on the environment below this switch, if you drop this nut you may never find it. Other pressure switch cover nuts have an internal flange which prevents the nut from separating from the cover. The pressure switch has been working daily, trouble free on my irrigation well for two weeks now. Guess only time will tell how long it will last.Review for: Pressure Switch for Well Pump, Well Pressure Switch 20-40 psi, Water Well Pressure Switch 1/4" Female NPT Black

The guy working on my water system told me this was just the right switch to get, and now that it's in use it works fine. Good product.

These pressure switches have been around for over 50 years. This particular one is well-made and works perfectly.
