Great pattern, put together like regular U.S. military gear, looked the stuff your Uncle Sam used to issue you. I’ve owned it all including od Vietnam era and in country custom hats made in Saigon. Would make a great fishing lid too. So tough You couldn’t wear this out in 10 years if you tried. Could be your next favorite boonie hat. Wear it brim flat out , sides up like a cowboy or front down back up like a fedora. You’ll frequently hear stuff like: “great hat” or “nice lid man”.

great hat,fits good even after 3 washes.this hat is light and keeps the sun off my neck and ears, the brim is not floppy and holds its shape. i have had lots of these hats over the years but this one beats them all.

In the description it says 60C/40P but the one I received is 50Coton/50Nylon. Not a big deal but I prefer the 60/40. Size on the tag is right but feels like the actual size is bigger. Compared to a size 7 and way bigger. Satisfied for the price but not for the quality compared to another Propper hat I have.

La tela del sombrero es muy delgada en comparación con otros Bonnie's por ejemplo Tru-Spec o Blackhawk, el ala del sombrero es amplia y protege muy bien del sol. Con respecto a la lluvia aguanta muy bien antes de mojar la cabeza, realicé un estimado de 30 a 40 minutos antes de sentir húmeda la parte interior. No tiene bolsillos interiores pero el material es resistente. Con respecto al color, observé un cambio gradual del mismo después de la primera lavada. Recomendable para zonas áridas.

I bought this to shield my head from the sun during my summer job on a road crew. It fit well and is very, very light! Doesn't make your head hot while keeping a good bit of sun out of the way. I will say I wish the brim was longer, but it was as described. Next time I need a hat to shield the sun... it may be worth getting a "safari" hat instead of boonie. Apparently there's a big difference. Anyway, for a cheap, durable, and lightweight hat... this is a good choice!

I have owned various boonie hats over the years for hunting and shooting. This one is to be used in a tactical environment and as such, I was concerned with the hat's heat retention. In particular, if it's cold out I can always use a balaclava under it, but in the extreme heat, a boonie can roast you. To my surprise, the hat I received was constructed out of 50% nylon / 50% cotton, as opposed to the 60% cotton / 40% polyester as described. While I did not receive the item described, the NYCO (50% nylon / 50% cotton) fabric was a welcome surprise, as I believe it to be the superior material for all-around use. The hat is well-made and the multicam pattern looks good. I wear a 7 3/8" hat, and the 7 1/2" that I ordered fits perfect (there are many reviews about this hat's sizing being too small - I can affirm that the 7 1/2" fits my 7 3/8" head perfect, so one should indeed order a slightly large size than normal. All in all, a fantastic boonie hat that will get the job done.

My friends and I have ordered a cumulative of seven (in multicam) of these by now and they are by far our go-to accessory for hiking, camping, or a night out. This accessory looks sharp whether you're wearing it to hike Yosemite Falls, or hitting the strip in Las Vegas. The picture makes the mulitcam one look a big puffy, but trust me, they do not wear like that. They fit like a charm, and give 360 degree shade for your face and head. We have ordered 7.75 every time and each one has fit it's user, and the range of our head sizes is very wide, so you can trust that going with a 7.75 will fit you perfectly. In fact, 7.75 should just be considered one size fits all.

For $10, this is easily a five star hat. Well made, and its a soft, medium thickness canvas. Not that annoying microfiber type material.• True to size will fit, and fit well. I normally wear a size 7, and ordered a 7.25, and is PERFECT. Fits just a touch loose which is what you want for this syle of hat.• Washed it once, and air dryed it. Did not shrink, but faded it JUST THE RIGHT amount to give it that worn in look. Even the bullet belt faded a touch.• Chin strap is easily wrapped up and snugged behind the crown on those not so windy days. Leather catch keep it in place and out of your face.• Brim is just the right width, and has a little bit of stiffness to it which is another thing you want with these hats• Nice metal vents in the crown•Well made and a steal for $10
