I use this Urethane belting for a pulley driven Bonetti Machine (a recreation of a 19th century Ultra High Voltage Static Electricity Generator), the belting welds together easily (I heat a metal putty knife on my stove flame and press both cut ends on the hot putty knife then quickly press the hot ends together. Welds are strong and easy, don't need to purchase the $700 tool for the purpose! Also in the photo you see four pinkish orange belts and one dark orange belt. This is the darker belt, I ran out of the lighter stuff because that vendor only sells in 10 foot lengths for a similar price. This vendor sells in 10 meter lengths at a very reasonable price. I currently live overseas in Israel and I think with the cheapest Amazon shipping the order came in 7 days (it was supposed to be much longer).
