Order these for an older SKB rack case. They worked perfectly and cost less than the SKB brand ones. They appear to be excellent quality for the money.

They worked perfect for me. Only used in a 19 inch slanted rack mixer case so I cannot say how they work with equipment that is rack mounted vertically. I would hope that they would work. I will tell you the pro-x rack that I mounted my mixer in is a POS. Second time using and one of the clamps are broken. They did replace the clamp but I have to drill out rivets and such....So yay to this hardware as that is what I am truly reviewing.

I've purchased tons rack mount screws and nuts but these are my favorite thus far. Very robust and great fit on rack rails.

I bought an old IBM rack. It needed these type of fasteners to mount things professionally. Good quality screws.Happy. will buy more as needed.

I made the mistake of buying a rack with square mounting holes instead of one with threaded 10-32 holes. Whoever came up with the square hole & clip on cage nut system should be tarred & feathered.These clip on nuts work 9 out of 10 times. Even when started with just fingers, some screws/nuts want to cross-thread. Most were usable though, so I give this 4 out of 5 stars. I was able to use just 2 clips & screws for my light weight 1U pcs of gear which allowed me to make up for the cross-threaded clips I had to throw out.If you bend the clip (side without the nut) back to 90 degrees, there is less chance of them cross-threading. Love the all-Black hardware.

The product is as described. I wish the nuts were metal instead of plastic. Also, three of the screws I used pushed the nut crooked cross-threading the screws. I wish the screws were of a higher quality metal because they were unusable after that. Also, the heads stripped on two of them, making them unusable. If I'm going to have to throw away 5 of the batch, I think the company should include some extras because I doubt I'm the only one with this problem. The slide-on cage nuts are AWESOME, though. They seat well in place. The nuts are high quality. The 4-star rating is because of the lower quality screws.
