Every afternoon, some radio broadcast would come on and keep getting louder to where it interfered with my practice.Additionally, one of the venues where I had performed in the past would reek havoc with my sound system, loud hiss, enough to create a feedback issue when I tried to make the vocals more out front. This little device cleared up BOTH....and now I've been rehired for the venue for the foreseeable future...this is a MUST have for live performances.

Sound quality is perfect. Unit is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Definitely a professional unit

Outstanding build quality. It's easy to quickly tell if the switches are in or out. I am gigging this weekly for my upright bass preamp (fDeck) and a small acoustic guitar pedal board (buffered boss pedals), and prefer it to my J48 for both sources. The second channel has come in handy many times on other gigs. I have recorded passive bass through this with no issues.Included cables are fine.

Canadian quality. Buy cheap and you'll toss it and replace it with this unit. Do yourself a favor and skip step one and buy this unit first.

Tried using this between my Kurzweil PC3K and QSC K10s (no mixer) and instead of getting a hotter signal, I got less signal (yes, pad was off). Tried every option on this box and was still disappointed. This unit is not designed to be used between synth workstations and powered cabinets, like the K10s, without a mixer so I'm returning it. For use with a mixer, the unit is probably fine as it seems well built (heavy) & high quality.

This DI is the bomb. Getting it at the lowest price as anywhere else, but with 2 cables through GearTree is even better! The Radial products are quiet, reliable, and road-tested. I sat down and did a back and forth, A:B comparison of several brands of DI's using my Taylor guitar, it sounds so much more full with this DI, and not just to my ears - It even shows up on a frequency analyzer. I've never really understood what people meant by 'transparent' until I heard this DI. It is so clean and silent. I use it bidirectionally as well when needed without a signal loss. I never thought I'd buy a direct box this expensive but after having DI-induced troubles at one gig I decided to bite the bullet and spend more on a better DI. I'm a believer now.The days of showing up to a gig and having a buzz or a radio broadcast come through my DI's are over. This is my second Radial DI purchase. I get the stereo boxes because one stereo box cost less than 2 mono, and stage layout is not an issue for me. If you are in that place where you rely on your equipment for your livelihood and rely on your sound to get you more gigs (we average 3 a week) I'd strongly recommend getting any of the Radial DI products.
