Rattlesnake Plant (Calathea lancifolia). One of the very best indoor ornamental houseplants, Rattlesnake Calathea has long, medium green leaves with dark decorative spots. The undersides of the leaves are deep purple. A beautiful accent plant for the home or patio, Calathea lancifolia grows to 30” tall and creates a magnificent specimen. As with others in this family, keep the soil evenly moist and grow in a well-drained potting mix. You will receive a starter plant growing in a 2.5" pot, approximately 3" tall.

Plant arrived on time but 3 days after receiving it died. Was small and not a lot dirt or packing, think shipping was hard on it

The plant was overwatered, partially eaten, and had thrips on it. I sprayed it with a homemade pesticide and isolated it. Ideally that would take care of the thrips. I'm not sure if it's going to survive. I'll keep it as is and hope to repot it in 2 weeks to avoid any unnecessary shock. Honestly I'm disappointed, it arrived quickly, but it's a huge waste of money if it arrives overwatered and covered in pests.If anyone happens to read this review I'd consider buying this particular plant elsewhere to save yourself time and unneeded worry.

Plant arrived looking fairly okay. Only 1 sickly looking leaf. Within two days the entire thing was dead. The plant arrived considerably overwatered and not packaged well. Dirt everywhere, all soil was sopping wet including what was remaining in container. I hoped to transfer it to new dry soil and it would recover but that didn’t work. Within two days of replanting in dry soil and no watering plant is dead from being shipped with soil that was still dripping from container. Do not bother.
