I must say that this fishing line exceeded my expectations. For the price of $33 for 300 feet of 45lb stainless steel fishing line, this is a great deal! The line held great despite looking thinner than what I expected, the reel holds the line with no problem and no tangles, and the high density line sunk just as expected. I definitely recommend this line for those fishermen that want to catch a BIG one!

I ordered this for the sinking feature and I am pretty surprised at how thin this line is. Not sure why I was expecting differently since cable is stronger than plastic line.High density means it definitely sinks.

This is some heavy duty wire, it has a darker oxide finish which would hide nicely in the water. I broke out my calipers and measured this wire to be 0.0350 which is definitely a solid wire thickness, very impressive for fishing wire.
