Like all things for my dog, Im skeptical. If you saw my purchase history you’d know why. I rarely return to stay in good standing with Amazon and have just come to the realization that most items are poorly made.The cord frayed and broke in less than a month. Not sure why, as it wasn’t chewed or over anything sharp other than the adjustment wheel and not even used daily.

No size options, vinyl portion needed to be longer for my very big coon hound.Ends up 40% coverage on the diameter of his neck is the elastic string... not so comfortable for him.Great idea tho

We have 3 of these collars, all bought at different times within the last year and a half. The first one was the blue camo, it came with a sturdy bungee, fit the mini educator on it no problems. Got a second dog, ordered the grey camo. This one came with a flimsier bungee, but still fit the mini educator and worked appropriately. Easy to put on, easy to take off, easy to get the proper fitment of the e collar. Got another dog, ordered a yellow camo. This one also came with the flimsier bungee. I had been needing replacement bungee cord for the grey camo one, as the ends had been nibbled away and made shorter making the collar difficult to get on my Mals giant head, so I went to hobby lobby and picked up the bungee cord there to replace the flimsy cords. It was a pain in the neck to re-cord them, but got it done and they work. It’s a bit tough to move, as I think the clasp might be smaller in the flimsier corded collars, but the cord did fit and remains in place. I wish they hadn’t changed the diameter of the bungee cord. Overall a good collar, but better with sturdier bungees.

The elastic bungee chord is far too light/stretchy to provide proper contact on the dogs neck. It stretches very easily and so you don't get enough contact to have consistent stim when used. This is the worst possible situation when using an e-collar....random contact. Random contact is confusing to the dog (and trainer) and produces poor results. Do not buy this collar.Additionally, my refund was approved but never provided. 1 month after the return package was confirmed as delivered I had to call Amazon customer service to get the money refunded. The collar that came with the ecollar was like a belt loop super annoying to get a good fit. This collar is easy on/off and good fit every time, easy peasy. Definitely recommend for ecollar users!

I love this collar. I had the traditional plastic collars that came with the Dogtra e-collar set. I never liked them and always found it a struggle to get the collar in just the right spot and just the right amount of tightness.Moving the dogtra unit to this collar was very easy. Once I had it put together, I slipped the collar over my dogs neck, positioned the prongs, and tightened the collar to the perfect tightness. My dog seemed very happy in it. I also like that if you are in a place that you don’t need to actually use the e-collar, it’s easy to loosen to give the skin relief from the prongs.We have quite a bit of land and my dogs like to go out and enjoy the morning just the two of them. We trained them to come back to the house by pushing the vibration button 3 times. They always arrive back at home quickly and happy. Sometime if it hasn’t gotten too hot, I’ll send them off for more outside time with the worlds “go play” and one push of the vibration button.With the regular collars that came with the dogtra set, the communication with the collar wasn’t as precise as it is with this new collar. That makes me feel better knowing my dogs are getting clear communication and they respond clearly, promptly and happily.
