This is simple and works fine. The only problem is with the Bissel hoses themselves. They tend to gunk up in the flex ribs of the hose. I use hot water and you can sort of whack the outside of the hose with the palm of your hand to free up the gunk inside the hose. I guess you could find some type of brush, too, but that would be another thing to have around that needs cleaning after brushing the gunk out of the hose; don't need that.

Can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this little attachment. My cat wreaks havoc in my house, so I an always using my bissell little green machine. But it gets kinda icky, so this really helps with making things more sanitary. Highly recommend!

ATTENTION BISSELL OWNERS! If you have a Bissell portable Spot Clean Pro, Pet Clean Pro, or any similar model unit, this rinse attachment will save your machine. It makes cleaning and rinsing that smelly, grimy extractor hose a breeze. This will inevitably extend the life of your machine, reduce smells & bacteria, and help your machine operate more effectively for longer.Pros:-small, clips on to hose so you can keep it with the extractor & not lose it-effective in operation-durable (same plastic as extractor head)Cons:NoneAdvice for use: to cut down on the extractor smell & bacteria rinse using a unique mixture. I used white vinegar & baking soda mixture with this rinse tool. You can also use isopropyl alcohol heavily diluted in water as your rinse mixture.

This made it so I didn’t have to replace the hose to my Bissell carpet cleaner! The hose had really gross almost like mold in it and I use this product and it made the hose completely brand new. Would definitely recommend to anybody, and would definitely buy again!
