Just long enough to fit a tenor sax neck end to end, but also useful for running through a mouthpiece to soak up the spit. Dinged the overall rating because the protective tip on each end of the neck saver has a tendency to fall off, making the neck saver difficult to run through the sax neck. First thing to do is pull each one off and put a drop of super glue on the wire end, then reattach the end protectors. Super glue doesn't do well with moisture, so be careful not to lose a tip even after gluing.

Much flimsier than the one this is replacing. Only has about a third of the fibers. Feels lesser in quality. I can only hope it will do its job. Time will tell.

This is a piece of junk. Comparing it to what I ordered previously: http://www.amazon.com/HW-Products-UTGN-Tenor-Saver/dp/B0007XY8TO/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408234970&sr=8-1-fkmr3&keywords=tenor+sax+neck+cleanermaterials are lighter and less absorbent. this product costs $6.69 vs. the rico at $4.95. I was confused because the picture of the rico neck saver is also blue and looks identical to the HW. In fact the neck saver is yellow and even visually one can observe that the fibers are shorter and of a less dense material. I reiterate it's a piece of junk. splurge for the extra $1.74 and order the HW. Rico you should be ashamed of yourselves! But I don't have strong feelings on the subject.

Looks to be not quite as good as the more popular H.W. Neck Saver. This one is more fuzzy, and looks like it might shed. Only time will tell. The good point is that it's the proper length. The H.W. is a little short.

Keeps my tenor neck dry. The plastic tip fell out after a week and I can't seem to find it but I just make sure to not insert that side into the neck. Definitely recommend this product to others just make sure to Krazy Glue the plastic tips on just in case you end up loosing them forever. Is about the same length as the saxophone neck and I have no complaints on it for this month that I've had it.

No problems. And off the side of the side road was a fifty foot cliff. And at the bottom of the cliff was a pile of garbage. We decided that one big pile was better than two little piles and other than bring that one up we decided to throw ours down. And that's what we did.(Gotta git in those minimum number of words).
