I’m just a beginner, so really appreciated it coming in a case, with a strap & with the digital tuner!

Always wanted to get one, and I stumbled across this little marvel, very well made, with comfortable cuts in it, very stylish. Very happy with my purchase.

For an inexpensive instrument, I'm very impressed with this ukulele, and I've been playing for over half a century. Perfect for all ages and levels of proficiency, including absolute beginner. This uke is a better one than another I purchased a few weeks ago on amazon for TWICE the price.

I have purchased 7 of these Rock Jams, various sizes, I gave them to kids and an adult who had interest in playing. I only sent 1 back . It was playable, but the frets really needed dressed and I wasn't feeling it. 2 had loose screws in the tuning pegs. A small tweek with a screw driver and they were tight and held pitch. What I really like on all of these is that the angles are right so you can lower or higher the action to preference. Intonation is great on the ones I had, up and down the neck. They are not overly bright or twangy instruments. These all have a mellow, well rounded, earthy tone with decent volume. My personal preference on these are the nyltech strings with a wound low g. I kept one for my own personal instrument. For visual purposes, I did put in an ebony nut and saddle. After 8 months, it is still in great shape, the neck is still straight and the tuning pegs still hold a solid pitch. I have played it around the campfire and dragged it to youth group multiple times.I do humidify my house for my guitars, so I don't know it it will stand up to dry conditions.Great little instrument that does it's job.

For my uses it's perfect. One quirk is that the second string falls out of tune VERY quickly. If I were to play a full song, by the time I got to the end, that string would be noticeably flat. Having said that, it will probably improve with use. The strings were QUITE out of key when I tuned it initially. For the price it's a great deal!

I ordered this to check it out before ordering a class set, and was impressed!!! The concert size gives a richer sound. The fingerboard is long with extra frets and a cutout to help reach them. The frets are perfectly tuned half steps ( you'd be surprised how many aren't). Also, the gears are encased for protection. It came with all the accessories I'd want...padded gig bag, uke picks, an extra set of Aquila strings, a tuner with battery, and a sturdy strap that buttons onto the use body. In short, a great instrument, especially for the price. I'd definitely order again!!!Note...uses are shipped with loose strings, and they take a good two weeks of daily tuning to hold their tuning. Don't judge any uke until you've done this!!!

I purchased for a beginner on Black Friday. I didn't have many expectations because of the price, but took a risk because of Amazon's return policy. Everything included in the package is decent: the sound quality, build quality, action, tuner, and bag are all decent. I didn't notice any sharp frets or any defects. Really for the price, I think it is an excellent value. At some point, I will likely change out the strings because I think it will improve the sound quality, but for now my student is happy with this instrument.
