The six inch model comes with two batteries... a must for large jobs. This unit has made trimming of trees and large bushes very easy. As a DIY person, that is very important.

It finally warmed up to the single digits today, so I was able to give this a trial run. What a beast! Very impressed. I cut a lot of dead wood kindling in the back yard and this cut dense, hard, dry limbs like a champ. I cut some that were 5 or 6 inches in diameter, which is probably bigger than you should with this, but the size and weight allows you to easily turn the limb, and the saw, to get a full circumference cut. I used both batteries out of the box, so there was (of course) only a partial charge in each. That coupled with the cold temp outside (and the size of some limbs I cut) gave me about a half-hour of battery juice - but I cut a LOT of wood in that time. I will repost about battery life after fully charging both and using them. A "You Tuber" who demonstrated/tested this had the same experience, but reported later in the video that the fully charged battery "can go all day." Another thing I like is the fact that it runs at full power/speed until it doesn't have enough juice, then it completely stops. There isn't a progressive slowing down of the chain. I highly recommend this saw.

I used this out of the box for limbing down a medium dead 6 inch tree. Great and handy, lightweight and gets the job done well. Unfortunately the knob that holds the chain on keeps coming loose and I can't tell from the instructions if there is a washer missing. I put everything together again and tightened tension so I think I will try a lock washer there if it continues to be a problem. Great deal with bag and TWO batteries.

We have a few trees in our yard and I noticed some branches were dying. I didn't want to pay someone to get rid of them (they were all reachable without a ladder and none were over about 3 inches thick) so, I decided to give this mini saw a shot. I LOVE IT!! I have used it 5 or 6 times already to cut branches/limbs off our trees (and to cut lower parts off our large agaves). So far, it's worked like a charm. The last time I used it was months after my prior use and when I put the battery pack back into the saw, it still had a charge.

This thing looks like a toy, but it is a super useful and portable tool; perfect for clearing brush, pruning tree branches, and cutting down trees up to about 3 inches in diameter. I have been using a 16" electric chainsaw, bow saw, silky saw, and ratcheting loping shears to prune branches and clear brush around the house; and this thing can do it all. You need to be careful pruning trees that you like, but for ripping through branches it is very light and capable. I just used it to cut down a 3 inch, 14 foot tall locust, and it made short work of it, to include bucking all of the side branches and cutting the thicker wood into 2 foot lengths for the fire place. The one I got came with two batteries and two extra chains. Highly recommended for anyone with trees and overgrowth.

It's very portable, lightweight and convenient to use! No heavy-assed chainsaw to lug around and start in order to trim bushes, tree limbs, etc.... What a luxury I have never had....amazingly handy! Just be sure to tighten/check your chain before you start using it - my chain was very loose and kept getting hung up on limbs until I checked to chain with the bar! Have fun with this one! It is worth the sale price for sure! Had to return this hand chainsaw! The chain seemed to really stretch and I was unable to keep the bar in place because the tightening bolt would loosen while using the saw! So sorry this happened and I had to return it!

I have one arm and this is perfect for trimming around the yard, the battery lasts pretty good and it cuts really good, would definitely recommend this
