I have used several of these and they work very well. I use a 18 volt battery operated ryobi angle grinder. I use them to cut medium carbon RR spikes for hobby projects. So that being said if you are using a more powerful tool they may not hold up as well. They are good for the money or for DIYer like myself. Mine came in a nicer plastic container with a threaded lid (even that has uses once empty).

Cuts like butter. Extremely high quality at an affordable price putting the competition to shame! I’ve gone through over 500 of these in my fabrication business and have yet to have one explode. If they fail due to bind up instead of blowing apart they’ll rip the eye out and stay on the grinder. I keep all sizes and variety of SALI in stock and I’ll never use another brand.

Don't mess your stuff up using a grinding wheel. Keep a pack of these on hand for good clean cuts. These babies sliced through 2in square stock with ease using my craftsman v20 grinder.Wear eye protection.

Don’t act like a Derp while using them. I had 2 of them to blow up. One cut 1/2” deep into my leg even with me wearing thick mountain Khakis. The other would have decapitated me, I just fortunately happened to be wearing my welding helmet and didn’t take it off in between cleanups. The helmet deflected it onto my shoulder and it left a 6” long cut. Luckily my legs, arms, hands, shoulders already have 100’s of scars cuz I’m kuntry. If I hadn’t already done so many other dumb things like burnt my hands 100 times, broke 76 bones, repaired barb wire fences with short sleeves and no gloves my whole life, run chainsaws with shorts on nearly cutting my leg off, nearly cut my foot off with an axe multiple times, hit my foot too many times with a sledge hammer not wearing steel toe boots, hit my hand with a hammer 60 times, kicking a cow in the head while trying to run me over breaking 6 bones in my foot(I was actually wearing steel toe boots and it knocked her out which saved my life), if I hadn’t already done all that I might be mad at the company. But by now I’ve learned to take responsibility for my actions and I probably was doing something wrong. Anyways they are good cut off’s, just don’t be a derp.
