About this item

  • FAST AND EASY INSTALLATION: Simply connect the hose you want to measure to the quick fitting on the product, and the installation is complete! ⚠️If you are using an RO system, it should be installed after the pressure tank.
  • COUNTDOWN DESIGN: Freely set the target water consumption or the number of days of water consumption as needed. The countdown design allows you to monitor exactly when the water flow stops. No more worrying about exceeding your planned water consumption or forgetting to change the filter on time.
  • HEALTH STARTS WITH PURE WATER: When the set target water usage is below 30 gallons or less than 7 days, the buzzer will beep once. When the target water usage or days have reached zero, the buzzer will beep twice and the display will flash. The alarm will sound again when the product detects water flow, effectively reminding you to replace the filter and ensuring clean drinking water at all times!
  • LCD DIGITAL DISPLAY: You can choose liters/gallons or days as the measurement unit. ⚠️ To switch between liters and gallons — press and hold the 'RESET' button for about 8 seconds until the data resets to zero and then release. Wait for the display to turn off, then remove the battery. Press and hold the 'RESET' button again while reinstalling the battery. Release the button when you hear a long "beep". The mode has now been successfully changed. Allow the screen to turn off to save this mode change.
  • AUTOMATIC MEMORY: When the battery is low, the buzzer will sound two warning beeps. If the battery is drained or unplugged, the last data will be saved automatically, so you don't have to worry about losing or forgetting your data.
  • ALWAYS AT YOUR SERVICE: Whether you need help with installation or usage, our team is here to provide the support you need. Contact us directly, and we’ll do our best to assist you.

1 Star deduction for not working with low flow. Was excited to track water ratios from ro membrane and both units gave me numbers way lower than my Apex flow meter coming into my fresh water holding tank. I will have to move the meter over to the intake and give up tracking waste ratios as even the waste flow was too low. I’ll throw the second unit under the sink and I’m happy to give this a 4 star for it’s primary use case of tracking the overall water into the unit.

I have moved this just past the dual membranes and before the storage tanks. It lets me set up but does not ever show any usage or gpm. Did not get around to setting it up until after the return windows. Throwing in the trash. I am using a booster pump so the pressure is high and producing over 100 gpd, so I know the minimum .3gpm is met.

Meter works great. Nice little unit. The 3/8" pipe fittings that come with it (one pair for 1/4" plastic, the other for 3/8" plastic flex-pipe) are NOT tapered as i'd normally expect on pipe threads. So... the enormous amount of teflon tape they came pre-wrapped with looked like WAY too much. So I unwound the tape to what looked like the right thickness for a tapered fitting and... sonofagun! it leaked! So I unscrewed the fitting and rewound a foot or so of the teflon tape back on... which gave me a nice tight seal. the other possible source of leak is of course between the black O-ring deep inside the fitting and the plastic pipe. First: cut the pipe clean and square; no burrs. I used a sharp straight-edge razor blade. I also put a dab of silicone grease on the cut ends to ensure they slipped easily all the way into and through the O-rings. The pipe should travel about a little ways (1/8 to 3/16"?) after entering the o-ring... and then hit a definite bottom. After it bottome out give the pipe a little tug in the back-out direction to ensure it's well seated... then slip in the snap-ring to keep it in place. THERE WAS NEVER LEAKAGE around my 1/4" plastic pipe.

I've had this product for awhile. Initially it worked, giving me a readout when water flowing. I hadn't used it in a long time, but needed to know flow rate. It turns on to change settings, but water flow through it doesn't make it turn on to give reading. The instructions don't provide troubleshooting and videos are all in other languages with no translation available.

As others have said, the fittings that come with this meter are total crap. I counted the number of wraps of Teflon tape, and there were 16 on each fitting. They could’ve saved the cost of the Teflon tape, and just given you the correct fittings.Just go to your local big box hardware store with the blue house or orange box logo. What you want for the 1/4” tubing is the SharkBite #835026 1/4” OD x 3/8” MIP. Sorry, but I didn’t get the number for the 3/8” tubing. (Don’t bother looking on Amazon for it. They don’t sell it, at least as of December 2022.)Put a couple wraps of Teflon tape on, then snug it down hand tight. Zero leaks. Meter works great.Deducted 1 star due to the frustration of getting the correct fittings (knew it going into it).

I recently set up a new Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filter and I'm loving it. I wanted to have a better understanding how much water I was actually using and going through the filters since the manufacturer recommend they are changed at time/gallon intervals. This monitor is great to do this.I compared different water monitors on the market and most were set up to monitor water usage in much bigger piping than what RO systems run (1/2" and 3/4" vs RO water lines at 1/4"). This includes adapters for both 3/8" tubing, and 1/4" tubing. I was worried that the water tubing was so small that it may not register the water flow as I saw some mention of this in other similar product reviews. I am happy to report that this monitor IS tracking water flow as it should. This water monitor counts days, and gallons on a downward trend. So rather than count usage as it is used, instead it allows you to set a total amount that it counts down from. I personally set it to 360 days, and 1000 gallons. After a few days I am down in days, and my gallon usage is now down to 965 gallons on the tracker. I don't mind that it does not count usage up as its used. I'll just make a note of what I have set as my tracking indicators and go from that. The display allows you to cycle through how many days are left in the count, how many gallons have passed through the system. It also shows when water is passing through and at what gallon per hour rate, and when it is not. This is particularly helpful in a reverse osmosis system so you can be certain IF the system is passing water, and also if there is an issue where it is not turning off and is constantly processing water and sending it down the drain. There are many stories of the auto shut off valves not working properly and these systems constantly flow water down the drain. With this monitor, the screen turns on and has a water movement indicator so you know things are flowing, and when they are not flowing. This feature alone can save countless gallons of water being wasted if there is an issue.I've only been using this a few days but I will update this review as time passes. As of now, I highly recommend this.
