MICROSCOPE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Open the batteries compartment door after unscrewing the protecting screw.

2.Insert two AA batteries, as directed in the compartment's bottom.

3.Lift the nose piece as much as possible with the upper wheel.

4.Put a slide with the tissue or organism you want to observe on the tray, fixed under the two blockers.

5.Point the light up, and switch it on.

6.Set the sharpness with the upper wheel, and adjust the eyepiece to your eyesight by turning it gently.

7.Adjust the light intensity with the lower wheel. Too much light can crush some low contrast details.

8.Be careful, when going from the smallest to the largest magnification, lift the tube to avoid hitting the tray.

Warning:

Do not look down at the eyepiece with LED light on when there' s nothing on the stage.

Bought this for an Xmas present for grandson. Pointless, cannot see detail and what you do see is not great. Can't get a refund cos I bought it back in October total waste of money. Have to put a star but wouldn't give it any!

It was horrible and it wouldn't even focus right, impossible to focus with any of the lenses and or the adjustments. Not sure how anyone would rate this thing even usable , so frustrating and my kid lost interest immediately. I purchased this thing to try and spark some interest in "stem" in my child and no it didn't work. Totally a poorly made microscope, I would not even consider this a worthy toy, my expectations were we could actually see something.

After seeing the good reviews I was surprised when this weightless microscope arrived. It’s made of plastic and not high-quality. Please don’t order it as a gift; you’ll be embarrassed to give it to someone! The β€œEnglish” on the box is so horribly incorrect.

I’ve bought two of these. One I bought as a five year old boys birthday, however my four year old wanted it for herself. With guidance on first time use, my LO was using it by herself in no time. We kept it simple, helped her to focus only adjusting one part. She can put slides in an out and adjust, super easy. Great item for introduction to using microscopes.

Its the right size for a kid, got it for my 7yo daughter who aspires to be a naturalist. I set it up for her and gave it a practice run to make sure it was lined up and working (plus I was kinda excited to check it out myself). Flipping between the magnification settings....ehh...I kinda couldnt see any big difference. It took me a couple min but it was simple enough to get it all lined up and have her checking things out in no time. Its plastic, small parts, and staring into a bright light. So we only let her have it out when we are with her to make sure it isnt missused and to make sure she is bring safe.I honestly wouldnt get for a child younger then 7-8.Over all its fun, a great intro into the micro world, and most importantly feeding your child's want to explore science! So I would have to say money well spent and overall happy with purchase.

My 8 year daughter loved it. It's a good quality so it does take alittle time to get used too the adjustment but well worth it
