I was hoping that I didn't need any amp but I was mistaken. Plugged it in today to test it out and the sound was so low, that I had to turn my Mixer up almost all the way just to hear a tiny peep. I don't recommend this for anything out side of a practice session. I'm returning this as we speak.

Outstanding clean sound. I play classical and acoustic guitar through these typically at about 15 to 45 Watts. They will do much more, but I'm pleased with their low power and high power consistency. Well made for travel and road handling.Roughly 20 pounds, easy to lift.Professional grade equipment.These give me unplugged clean sound but much louder.

The speaker volume is almost zero when i connect it to roland drum TD-17-LI am not getting out any sound. I read about this speaker that will work directly with the drum without any amp.However this speaker didnt work. I believe it require an amplifier behind to run a electric DrumBad order. Dont suggest to be purchased.
