I was looking for the ideal case for my Yaesu FT-991a radio with SP-10 side speaker. When centered in the case, there is ample room to protect the front and rear of the radio. Mounted the radio to a spare shelf. I like the netting on one of the doors for microphone and power cable.

We have some wireless mics to be racked and this works well. If you are wanting to rack a huge, heavy amp, this might not be the ideal choice. But for Medium to Small Wieghted items, this is great!

I use this with a slide out tray for my mixer. I set my laptop on top of the case for karaoke shows. Looks nice and neat on my table. Very professional appearance. So happy with this purchase!

Front and back fit like a glove. It’s plastic so don’t throw a bunch of gear on top or keep it in your trailer/van in sub-zero weather then bump/bang it around and expect it not to crack - but that would be stupid wouldn’t it? It came with a screw bouncing around inside and I thought it was a rack screw who escaped the nice little bag of included rack screws but no, it was a screw that secured the side rail to the bottom rail and they are identical to the rack screws - no problem just screwed it back it. The washers that come with the screws are cheesy, too flimsy/rubbery and will flatten out - I used harder plastic washers from my stock.*Most important: it’s ‘good to better’ protection but it ain’t wood so you get it, it’s not an Anvil Case (remember those?), that would be ‘best’ but I like it. It holds my Crown XLS 1500 and BBE 882 nicely and I’ll sleep better. I think it should be $99 or even $89 but hey, almost everything is inflated a little right? It gets four stars because of the bouncing screw, flimsy washers, and because it’s *not* wood. And four stars because it’s a good, not perfect purchase (I’m fussy) but it’s all about the sleep where visions of a safer Crown amp will dance in my head. Just buy it.
